Hi guys,

Newbie here trying to set up a crypto profile. 1 month ago I had heard the name Bitcoin but didn't know what it was other than a digital currency and had not heard of any alt coins so bear with me  Undecided

I don't have a huge amount to invest, thus far i have 0.13 BTC and 2 ETH, 2.6k XRP AND 50 OMG. I want to keep adding to this and keep it for as long as needed, i  am not really interested in trading as i don't understand this space enough to do that.

Any ideas or thoughts? Should i move any of these around? Concentrate on adding to bitcoin? Add to XRP/OMG etc etc???

Also i have a ledger nano s en route to keep my coins.

cheers
Just keep reseach if you dont have idea for that, understand and read before you invest to avoid everything bad.

You are right, that investing is not a coin, but in several. My recommendation is to pay attention to the Ethereum, Stratis, and other coins. Actually now all the coins at the bottom, you can look to many. Don't panic and have to translate everything in bitcoin.
With top coins like Ethereum, Stratis... the price is not in bottom. You need to exchange those to USD and you will see the price really high. I think  new investors should patient before invest.

My advice is be patient and fulfill your goals, at first it is really hard to understand all about cryptos but you will surely learn something day by day just by exploring and reading some threads. Always follow forum rules and regualtions and don't abuse what privileged have given to you. Just stay positive all time and you will get all your plans.

In my opinion I think a newbie can invest as much crypto investment as you can and see the market exchange also.

Spend time just going through this forum, seeing what you can learn.

Also research the technology behind altcoins and why they work and what makes them special.

Hi Bro! Firstly welcome to this world. As newbie, I want to give you serious advice. Never post a small post and In every post, there should be a 100+ words. So that your activity would also increased with post. If you post single line reply and post too many in a day then you will face problems in activity. Your activity is half of your post, that not good. In last, never post more than 3 in a day. Hope, you like it and earn as you can.

Also, if you want to join bounty campaigns, you have to grow your rank first. You can make your rank grow through posting here in this forum. But make sure that your posts are not nonsense so when you apply for bounty or signature campaigns you have bigger chance of being accepted because of your performance.

My advice to a newbie is to first learn the basics of bitcoin. You could learn that through reading here. Second is to find an altcoin campaign for you to earn some profit, in this campaigns, what you have learn or known basics could help you here. Third is to grow, by the time you spend here more knowledge will come and you will mature here.

From my point of view to your statement, you have a great startup as a newbie. Best advice you can get as a newbie is just be an avid reviewer of crypto articles, news, ICOs and as well as trying to familiarize until mastered the economy and market waves of crypto. Thats the policy of profit experts. Goodluck to the journey and welcome!
