Careful information, considerations before investing in Bitcoin and altcoin!
Always invest with the money you can lose! Avoid the promised highly profitable projects!
There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

Hi guys,

Newbie here trying to set up a crypto profile. 1 month ago I had heard the name Bitcoin but didn't know what it was other than a digital currency and had not heard of any alt coins so bear with me  Undecided

I don't have a huge amount to invest, thus far i have 0.13 BTC and 2 ETH, 2.6k XRP AND 50 OMG. I want to keep adding to this and keep it for as long as needed, i  am not really interested in trading as i don't understand this space enough to do that.

Any ideas or thoughts? Should i move any of these around? Concentrate on adding to bitcoin? Add to XRP/OMG etc etc???

Also i have a ledger nano s en route to keep my coins.

cheers

Not bad. Stick with what you have and keep pooling bitcoins and XRP. I think these two have still lots of potential to grow and grow back to its original or peak prices, specially bitcoins. XRPs are pretty great and maybe buying more is very much logical. I think you should buy eth too.

For the novice, blind investment trading risks are enormous. Therefore, it is recommended that you first understand related technologies and knowledge, and look at others' suggestions. Invest with confidence and confidence. Smiley Smiley

In addition to investing for a beginner, it will always be beneficial to participate in bounty campaigns. This will help to gain new knowledge about the crypto currency world. This will also teach you to analyze projects more carefully, and this is a very valuable skill.

Learn about the best way to protect your investments and you seem to have done it with the addition of a Ledger Nano.
Besides, you have to have many brilliant ideas and techniques that can help you in the future. Read and study before investing.

Be calm and do not rush to invest. Learn how to do this by reading the forum. Participate in bounty campaigns and airdrop. Learn more about projects before deciding whether to buy them or not.  Roll Eyes

Man, you are doing awfully good for a newbie, you have bitcoin, and good alts too, plus a ledger nano s must have arrived a long time ago seeing that this thread is months old, you must have made some real good profits by now provided you sold your bag at the right time, just keep on researching and investing in good cryptos, GOOD LUCK.

Yes, we need to devote more time to studying the projects and technologies of the block chain, this is surely going to benefit. You also need to have at least basic trading skills on crypto exchanges, this is also very important.

The most important thing is that you must understand what you are investing your money. Study carefully the projects. Then you can create the right investment portfolio. One rule should be followed - there must be a lot of bitcoins in the portfolio.

I would concentrate on adding to bitcoin and just keep the rest in cold storage.

In addition, as a new person, at least have to be active in developing their image in the forum, which will give you a good income to participate in the prize, then listening to the suggestions from the legendary and heroic team participants, but do not observe them without condition, because they may also be wrong, but you can also do the analysis according to your own ability.

your step is right by sharing your investment in some coins. Because the potential for profit is very open. My advice for the future should you try to add stock of coins to become an investment collection, try to buy some coins from ICO.

Dont anyhow jump into ICO, i got burnt quite a lot myself due to scam projects... and yes never invest in projects that put up advertisement, they are pure hypes, many failed examples before

Do your research and join their telegram and get to know the project and community better

As a newbie you have a good choice of coins keep holding it and continuously educate your self what crypto is. you have a stable coin with better outlook in the future i suggest don invest on new coins which promise ro give you multiple returns as this coins are usually a scam one.

If you want to invest in coins in the long run, then I think you should buy another EOS. You have chosen a very good coins for storage. Try to participate in bounty companies. Trading on the stock exchange could give you more!

if you do not have enough income or cash to invest in crypto market, you can try to join bounty campaigns till you have at least a few bitcoins. it might take some months or year who knows but it is better than not having anything in the market.
