new amazing template from Licht : thanks
https://www.biblepay-central.org/en/
1 little bug Sanstuaries  pls fix it  Wink

Explorer link kinda throws me off because it is an external link... the rest of the left hand sided links are within the site, so it is visually consistent. I think explorer should be somewhere else like footer.

Fixed. Quite sure there are still a lot of bugs. It is not completly finished, but I needed to test it with the online content.
For example, the mobile menu is not working right now. And the layout of a lot of sub-pages is not perfect.

But it is late here and I'm going to bed now, the rest must wait until tomorrow Wink

Hi everybody,

as some had already seen, I relaunched biblepay-central with a new design and a bunch of new features.

You can learn more about it in my current proposal:
https://forum.biblepay.org/index.php?topic=185.0

They might be still some stupid bugs in the new version, but I hope that I could find all important bugs. I will do the finetuning in the next days, which includes optimizations for mobile view, some design tweaks and so on.
If you find a real bug, please don't hesitate to write about it.

I would also appreciate any masternode votes on the proposal Smiley

Wow, haven't been here a couple of days and I it seems like a lot of awesome work has been done. Thank you so much to all the guys putting effort in creating content, web pages, statistics, repositories (Wink) etc. and God bless!

Since WCG finally recognized my original CPID I tried it on some other machines too and so far it seems to run smoothly. Moreover I think it is a lot better for people with very bad internet connection and/or not a lot of disk space, since the work packages are considerably smaller (by factor 10 or even more...).
Now I have a very simple question which I couldn't find the answer for: Where do I find the WCG "RAC" or how is it calculated? On the web page I only see the WCG points (which seemingly arent't updated very often...), but is there any statistics on the RAC like on the R@h web page? If not, where does the PODC calculation get the RAC for WCG from?

The easiest way to get the current WCG rac is to load the Boinc GUI to one of your machines (I use boinc GUI on my windows machines) IE Boincmgr - sudo apt get install boincmgr, run it, switch to the Advanced View first, ensure WCG is attached as a project, and click Update, and read the RecentAverageCredit from the WCG Project row.

Biblepay multiplies it * 1.5 currently, for the sanc contract.

10-4 on LukeJr's POW warning for classic proof-of-work, specifically a hashrate attack of 30% to 'take over' a coin using concentrated mining.

We have an extra layer of insulation in biblepay, being that we require a distinct CPID to mine each block, so the attack is a lot harder than controlling 30% of the hash power here.  It would require a minimum of 30% of the CPIDs also, and a lot of rented hashpower (I believe about 2000*.30 = 600 PC's) in order to pull off a similar attack in Biblepay.  This would be very expensive, because you would need 150 CPIDs with RAC (thats about 30%, so that you have a distinct CPID available to mine with across the rented farm for the chance of solving every successive block), and about 600 rented hashing machines to have a chance.  The challenge and cost of this attack is very high however if you fail, because as DGW increases the diff to say 90,000 by block 3, now your 600 machines may not be able to solve the next block in time (before one of our authentic cpids jumps in and solves it - due to our distinct CPID/3 rule), so I think with our level of insulation this type of attack is mitigated to a high degree and less likely, since our heat mining reward is so low...

Ah thanks. I saw that "avg. work done" number (since I also use the GUI on my windows PC), but I didn't update, so the numbers were all over the place^^. Nice to know this as a kind of landmark, let's see how this builds up over time...
Is this number also available for single machines? I cannot find this in the device statistics.

Hi guys, we are only 91 votes away from 2000 in the Next Exchange vote!

Please help us to reach 2000! (Note that we can only have 50 votes per day so if the number doesn't update, please try again tomorrow).

Once we hit 2000 I will again promote our cause to the NextExchange admins.

Thanks!

I really like the new design. Well done!

A few tiny points:

1) The Biblepay USD price doesn't look correct.
2) Of course, new QIEX exchange needs to be added at some time.
3) 5881 BBP average daily reward seems high (at least for my sanctuary! Has not been greater than 5000 for months).
4) On mobile I cant access the menu (Chrome, brave browsers tried).

I LOVE the proposal graph. Perfect work!

It seems to be the go-to exchange for masternode coins.

It has almost double the number of Masternode coins as second place in the list.
And their volume has increased since this list was made.

3) 5881 BBP average daily reward seems high (at least for my sanctuary! Has not been greater than 5000 for months).

Id consider Masternodes.Pro to be the most accurate,
they worked with me to develop custom script for BiblePay Masternode statistics:
https://masternodes.pro/stats/bbp
(4,399 BBP daily reward, 103% ROI)

Masternodes.Online skews a little higher (I havent really been in contact with them):
https://masternodes.online/currencies/BBP/
(4,895 BBP daily reward, 115% ROI)

BiblePay Central looks to skew even higher:
https://www.biblepay-central.org/
(5,639 BBP daily reward, 132% ROI)

==

Masternodes.Pro uses the "getblock" command and typically for masternodes they look for the output value "mint"
With BiblePay we have a value called "sanctuary_reward" that can be used

Code:
getblockhash 47871
091bfc4b50a39c8eba515f6c8b7d4a35d424454b2b139ab5f4ec3d39e906ed21

getblock 091bfc4b50a39c8eba515f6c8b7d4a35d424454b2b139ab5f4ec3d39e906ed21
"sanctuary_reward": 4235,

and they added code to skip monthly budget superblock (from "getgovernanceinfo")
and I cant remember but possibly also daily PODC superblock (from "exec getboincinfo")

You can find the getblock output in the source code in:  src/rpcblockchain.cpp, the blockToJSON() function
https://github.com/biblepay/biblepay/blob/6f938be31f1be93227a409094a5f9319eee82006/src/rpcblockchain.cpp#L277
https://github.com/biblepay/biblepay/blob/6f938be31f1be93227a409094a5f9319eee82006/src/rpcblockchain.cpp#L338

Hope this helps some!

Hi Smiley

Yes, the Masternode Reward is to high, it looks like there is a filter for status = ENABLED active.
But that creates the question: What is the right filter? Is every masternode getting paid, regardless of the status?
Or maybe I just kick the whole calculcation and simply take an existing masternode and get the average of this payment in the last 5 days something like that Smiley

The biblepay prices from are from the APIs of the exchanges. They do look strange at times, but right now, it seems that the shown prices match the ones on the exchanges. The price is going up right now.
Qiex will follow soon, if I can get API access (still haven't answered the mail, my bad)

And yes, the mobile view is broken right now. I was to tiered to finish the mobile menu, and I'm out of town for today. But aside form the login, all parts should be accessible from the startpage.

Interesting chart, great find! Here are my thoughts on that from 4 months ago: Smiley

Here is something I analyzed (which might or might not be relevant): from the current coins listed on Crypto Bridge, there is a lot of masternode coins. So I think by listing on this exchange we can attract masternode investors, because it will be much easier for them to buy BBP on the same exchange where they buy other MN coins, so that could potentially drive the price up faster than on a different exchange of similar volume.

Masternodes.Online skews a little higher (I havent really been in contact with them):
https://masternodes.online/currencies/BBP/
(4,895 BBP daily reward, 115% ROI)

I think it's because they masternodes.online calculates only for 160 masternodes instead of 216, but I see masternodes.pro also lists the number 160, but maybe internally they count more of them? Or is it because they take into account (or rather, don't) the monthly superblock as you said, whereas masternodes.online doesn't have that code in place?

Yes, the Masternode Reward is to high, it looks like there is a filter for status = ENABLED active.
But that creates the question: What is the right filter? Is every masternode getting paid, regardless of the status?

Based on my experience, I think it's counted like this:
✔ = receives payments
✘ = doesn't receive payments

✔ ENABLED
✘ NEW_START_REQUIRED
✔ WATCHDOG_EXPIRED
✘ PRE_ENABLED
✘ UPDATE_REQUIRED
✔ EXPIRED

Or maybe I just kick the whole calculcation and simply take an existing masternode and get the average of this payment in the last 5 days something like that Smiley

Hm, interesting. That is probably the most exact way. Smiley It would be even better if there is a way to detect all masternode payments from the blockchain, so you can count all payments and show the total average.

If anyone wants to help with the white paper please do!

I was just thinking "hmm, I should add that to the whitepaper" Smiley

I think that this would be a great add-on!

@West and Togo: awesome! This should definitely get a spot on the website.
