Selling BTC to buy BCH now is a right choice. But you have to set a high fee for the transaction. If not your transaction will be delayed few weeks.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

The whole situation around BCH is just the game of whales, isn’t it?

I advise you not to do anything, keep them. Do not sell Bitcoin, keep them because bitcoin will regain strength and their value will continue to increase.

In my opinion BCH is just raising so hard right now because we witness the bitcoin price drop.
After all, 7000$ per one BTC is way too overpriced for nowadays, we need more reasonable price buildups and drops, not so aggresive gain over a course of 3 months.

I think you are a bit too late if you want to profit from BCH as the greedy whales will profit from the people who buys BCH because of their so called sudden trend anytime soon the best thing to do for now is to hodl your coins but depends when the worst part comes where btc continues to dump so negative but for now we cannot assume what will truly happen but to believe to btc also think that the biggest personalities and business person still supports as the local exchages too. Just hold on buddy you will see.

Is it time to sell BTC for some BCH ? Maybe sell 25% holdings of BTC to buy BCH ?
I don't know what to do as I don't have any BCH... what are others doing
If I send 0.2 BTC to an exchange will the BTC transaction get confirmed ? Because there is a big backlog in transactions ??
If you had the opportunity to enter before the bitcoin cash rally then it was a good buy,but i would not dare to enter at this time when it has risen this much. But one thing is that bitcoin transaction rates are pretty crazy at the moment while the transaction charges of bitcoin cash are really cheap, that is a fact, but deciding which coin to enter depends upon your choice of interest ,always make sure to enter at a proper time rather than trying to catch the train.

I did not plan to move from bitcoin before and I will not do that now. EaLiTy you
have a point here, who bought on time made a good investment, right now it would
be very risky to buy on $1500.
   This topic is very interesting:
One member Wojak predicted market cap of BCH at $30 billion by monday! Today
it is $25,760,687,916 and rising, so this is possible and this will rise price a bit more.
Bitcoin and BCH trading volumes are at the same point. I am confused about all
this.

BIG WINNER!

BCH has already reach its peak price and I think it is not good to sell btc just for bch. The best thing to do is hold bitcoin because as we all know bitcoin will rise. We have many hopes for that, and yes lets observe the market.

If you're going to do that I can say that congratulation you trapped by the whales dude. Just take a look at BCH price at the moment, it's being dump and go down from 2nd rank to 3rd rank on the coinmarketcap.com. Be careful with your decide at this time if you don't wanna lose it all. Try to be patient a little bit more cause there will be a big pump of Bitcoin price I think it'll happen soon maybe at the end of this month.

Why guys you simply don't invest to a real asset like ETH or NEO or to a platform that does something but to burn electric energy and try to find a sha256... I don't understand why you "invest" your money to a liability by it's nature.   Huh

BTW my opinion for the question is, BCH is better than BTC, keep in mind that both are heavy centralized ...

I'm not giving up my BTC at all, but getting some ETH isn't a bad idea too.

I'm not sure if it's the best time to sell but it certainly is a good time to sell. You can sell it now and you will get a nice return. Maybe if you hold you can make more who knows?

If you're going to do that I can say that congratulation you trapped by the whales dude. I sold mine at 0.21btc I'm happy with it. I think it might go down so I sold before that happens. If it dies go up it's ok I'm happy for other people who made a nice profit and I'm happy with mine.

Don't sell BTC for BCH! BCH is scam coin which served one and only purpose - pump and dump to make a bunch of guys wealthier. Now the hype is over and I'd bet "postponed" S2X is next one. So if you feel like making a risky investment, better buy some BT2 (bitcoin's segwit2x) futures on exchange. Pretty sure this hanging gun will shoot in coming weeks (if not earlier). Imagine, what would happen if on December 16th S2X is launched and few days later 50% of mininng pools start to mine S2X? It's a perfect opportunity for whales to make 10x-30x out of nothing + another moment to buy BTC at a good price ~$4500-5000.

Even I am also confused now. First I thought not to buy bch and stayed away from it. But today just now I bought some bch. I didn't invest a lot in this, just invested a small portion of my bitcoin in this. That's it. Nowadays even bitcoin transaction fees is driving ne crazy. For transferring 0.001btc to my exchange , electrum wallet charged me 0.0007 btc. I don't know whats happening and where this is gonna end.

I do not think that it is the right way for leaving bitcoin and holding bch. Especially in these days you should hold all bitcoins you have and wait for the right time.

Well, look at the market. Is BCH still taking off, or has it slowed or gone into a downturn? Is there any reason to buy BCH right now? Has BTC stopped falling, or is it falling even harder than before? Has it made gains in the past few hours? What's the 24h %-change for both cryptos?

You need to start asking some questions if you want to know the answers to things like this without relying on people who have their own biases and agendas to tell you how everything is supposed to be. Form your own opinions and theories on everything you have questions about, come to a conclusion, and then start to ask questions to learn more.

You can do whatever you want with your bitcoin now. If you can't what's happening to bitcoin recently, a lot of people are jumping to BCH for the better living. But there's only one thing that I can tell to you, while the price of bitcoin getting down, this has been expected due to the rapid increase few weeks ago. And after this, expect that there will be a rapid increase again so it will be moon again soon.

If I send 0.2 BTC to an exchange will the BTC transaction get confirmed ? Because there is a big backlog in transactions ??

Still depends on the fee you'll pay.
