Yeah that will be interesting to see.But if fans decisions will have same weight as coaches decisions,i dont see the problem there.

Interesting. I think marketing techniques like this will be more successful for long term users than online campaigns because of the fanbase.

Yeah, with promotion like this you can better reach to the non-crypto crowd and convince them to engage with the platform. It's the best way to market sport projects, because people in blockchain space will do their research and invest anyway, but regular sport fans have no idea about tokes, coins, crypto etc.

Exactly. Every one of my sports interested fans I've told this about were immediately interested. They know nothing about any of the technicals, but they know exactly what this is offering that they desperately want. Which is more interaction.

The Screaming Eagles were part of a pilot project which only ran for a season. However, they will return when the FCFL is up and running.

How do you know this?
Is it stated somewhere publicly?

I'm sorry, I was sure I read it in some official documentation, but all I can find is a message from the CEO in the FCFL Telegram group: "The 8 teams in the league? We only have one, the Screaming Eagles which was our Proof of Concept this past season. You can read about them on our website GQ, WSJ, NYT and others covered the team. The next 7 teams will be designed by the fans starting early next year!"

How many teams will there be?

There will be eight teams in total, split into two divisions of four.

Will the teams each be their own franchise?

Good question. If so, how will the franchisee's be selected?

The first 8 teams will all be owned by the league. We wanted to make sure we could maintain control of the product in order to make any changes necessary, both on and off the field, to optimize the game and fan engagement. Once we are confident the product is rock solid the league will look for owners for each of the teams and also look to sell expansion teams. We're also evaluating having one or a few international teams in year one. At a minimum we want to include international players.

That actually looks like a solid plan of action. I bet by then you guys will be able to make a good bit of profit just selling team slots.

Yep, I use to play Madden a lot and I'd redraft the entire league, and just simulate all the games with my new team just so I could control playbooks, rosters, starters, etc.
