Trading is the art of making good decisions, without involving negative emotions so that every decision comes from a thinking that can be accounted for. Whenever you sell is a decision to take advantage or stop the loss, I think everyone has different thoughts and you are free to do so.  Smiley

Ofcoarse the selling of your coins is depends to you if you think the profit the possible you get if you sell your coins and if it's big you can sell it but if you want to earn more profit better to hold more few months or few years..

If you are holding a coin, and waiting it of what os the performance of the coin, try to do the go with the flow program that uses of anybody. If there are many people selling, go with it.and if there are so many buying, just hold

Always be updated what is going on in the market. And it depends on your needs. If you badly need cash, go,sell your coins. And if not hold it and wait for the price to rise.

If you decide this from an investor's point of view, you need to follow the news in the media. In addition, you need to closely monitor change the trend in the market. A trader has for this purpose a whole range of auxiliary tools, for example, charts, trading indicators, etc. An experienced trader also creates a trading plan, where points of entry and exit from the position are pre-designated for different situations. Of course they use stop-loss.

I usually sell my holding when I am satisfied on the profit I got. Sometimes I set a target price maybe 20-50% return then once my altcoins reached my target price then it will be the time to sell.

The easiest way to know when to sell is when there is devastating news regarding bitcoin or cryptos, e.g. a country banning it, or governments cracking down on exchanges. You can be pretty sure an at least 5% dip is coming shortly after this gets out.

Can i anybody put me through the basics of knowing when to sell and when to hold?...
I actually don't know much about market rise in demand and supply and it's affecting me in daily trade of cryptocurrency.
There are tools that we can use for us to know whether it is time to sell or time to buy. I using the relative stregth index for me to know if this time is time to buy or sell. You should improve your technical analysis skill for you to improve your understanding in trading cryptocurrencies.

Everyone has a guess about when to sell. We all know that one of the reasons for trading is to buy when the price is low and sell when the price is high. Now that Bitcoin's price is rising, I suggest that you can wait for a while.

I must always monitor the development of the charts and the development of the price of the coins I hold. I will sell the coins I have if the price of coins has gone up many times over the capital I spend. And I will hold it if the coins that I hold the price is still down.
