But for now the criteria are low. Even looking for decent English rules out 50% of them.

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

Well the best way to choose thw right ICO is to consider all the choices because we're talking about money here and the money you invest is the fruit of your hard work so if you want to make the right choice do some research.

Of course many factors r considered to choose the right ICO projects. Firstly reading the WP carefully is a must, then u have to check its team and visit their profiles to see if they r really experienced or not. Also the concept of the project, and its roadmap r another signs showing u if the project is going to success or not.

Generally in my opinion ICO is always a good option.  In particular, it is very profitable to look for companies that are only gaining momentum and investing in them, because after a rapid growth on this you can raise the money.  Of these, companies have recently found Paytomat for themselves.  As if the company is not very popular, it already cooperates with NEM and Hacken, which I trust.  Details can be read on them on the telegram channel, called Paytomat Announcements.  But in general, I do not want to impose my point of view, so think for yourself

I was really glad when the companies started to unite, especially those that I trust, one company I invest or invest in co-operates with another, then I already trust two companies, thereby increasing investment and reducing risk.  A good example of this is the NEM, I have been investing there for a long time, and here I find that they have teamed up with Paytomat.  Generally did not know what it was.  I'm a gambler gambling and I decided to put it there and everything turned out super now looking for such different cases because the stable success of these two forces to move forward.

I agree, but to Paymot, I've heard a lot, a really good company, I've just started investing and, in principle, it's still chic.  They are very worried about the relevance of their project.  but in principle this is the core role of the ICO

I think there are several threads here in this message board and also a lot of articles on cryptocurrencies sites which describes you what you hae to look before you want to invest in a initial coin offering. So the thing is, you have to put work in before you invest. But nobody want to do that. Everybody is just looking for some advice from successfull cryptoinvestor. But thats exactly the problem. They just listen to other people, dont read the whitepaper, and invest a small amount of money. They will maybe have a good profit, but thats all. The real investors who are informed about the project, and sure about it that it will be successfull, they are ready to invest a big amount, and they will make also a very big profit when it will be successfull.

I consider there is no specific algorithm here. But there are certainly some rules .. for example, look at the team's professionalism, according to the very idea, according to plans for collecting money. AMBT https://ambitmining.io is a token with payouts, that entitles the token holders to the percentage share of the total profit of the mining and hosting operations, which will be paid out on bi-weekly basis.

The best way to choose an ICO is to read a lot about it. That's the only option and look for third party and trustworthy appraisers of the ICO. There are a lot of good ICO out there and bad ones as well. Therefore it is really going to be useful to study the ICO first in all factors.

Do not choose an ICO succumbing to emotions. It is necessary to study closely a team, whitepaper of the project and articles about it. The main thing to study ICO carefully.

Just go to Icodrops and watch for high or very high interest ICO. All of them is good for investment. But don't bring al ofl your money to 1 ICO, take a look at 2-3 for more safely

Personally, I'm not lucky with the ICO and not because of the scam. Most of the ICO in which I invested my mone, they did not even reach the soft cap. I'm in despair.

What I think makes a good ICO use case. Does the project need a coin? Most projects do not. I like to see strategic partnerships with real companies (not just another ICO) that make sense. Most of all, do they have a community backing them? Same as an IPO or any other investments, do your research before you transfer funds!

I think it's not right to choose only one thing. Even a very good team with a weak idea and an empty whitepaper will not be able to pull out the project. Conversely, no matter how good a whitepaper is, without an experienced team, investors will be afraid to invest money in the project.

there are so many people's opinions on how to choose a good ICO depending on how they judge it.
I personally if I want to invest in ICO will choose how TIM and the project function for the people, that ICO must have a strong team and have a good project usefulness for the future of the crypto world.

There is the VC rule: administration, technology and sales -> it is all focused on the team.

Crypto market is emerging and by making the right choice, we can make real good $$$'s. What are the key for a ICO to be successful?

Add additional options if I miss in the voting options

All those options are the main characteristic when considering wether the ico will become successful someday but for me the main reason why an ico will become successful is because of hype or marketing because of this method many investor will acknowledge a particular ico so it became popular in the market and more investors will come.
