Does Dev have intended for POLY on Cryptopia? I see POLY on Yobit could not easy.

Will reach out to cryptopia, they charge a lot for listings but will see what they have to say. I do not think that paying 45 thousand US to list on exchange is worth it.

What does everyone think about stocks.exchange? Can pay listing fee there is not too much.

I understand, $ 45,000 is not an easy money.
Today, I saw Poly had pretty good growth, which made me very happy to have decided to invest a bit in POLY.
It deserves more attention, especially for marketing, and it deserves to be on a better exchange.
Stocks.exchange has relatively low transaction volume, but in my opinion it's a little better than coinsmarkets.com.
I just want one thing: You and your teammates give POLY the best that you can.

What's the point wasting money on those shitty exchanges. One is enough if you want to trade it. Unless it's Yobit or Cryptopia no point listing on others. I have an account with stocks.exchange but never traded there vs I'm every day on coinsmarkets if I want to buy or sell some new coins.

Stocks.Exchange attracts a very different and whole new class of investors. Coins Markets is kind of scammy. You can tell it was put together in a hurry and I avoid entrusting too much of my money on it. Stocks.Exchange has a much cleaner interface, and that's a sign of a lot of investment by the owners of the exchange, and thus something that I trust. I'm much more willing to use Stocks.Exchange rather than CMCE. We should absolutely try to list on as many exchanges as possible - especially if the cost is reasonable. Each attracts a different kind of investor, and opens up a different pool of capital for the project.

Interface doesn't really mean anything. Even nice looking website can be a scam. I'm up for all exchanges but 45k listing on another shitty exchange is ridiculous. Save money for the better exchange.

$45,000 is for Cryptopia, not for stocks.exchange.  Stocks.exchange is 0.08 BTC according to dev post here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2409413.msg25279322#msg25279322

If your objection to stocks.exchange was the price, I hope you will reconsider based on this new info.  If you object even at 0.08 BTC, then perhaps we will just disagree and dev can see what option more people agree with  Smiley

Oh, ok I misunderstood, I though 45k is for stocks.exchange. If only 0.08 BTC then of course it's fine to list there.

Hi, I'm interested in the project, sounds good, what about it currently? I've seen that is only listed in coinsmarkets (ugly exchange).

Has anyone approached cryptopia yet? They have been listing a lot of coins lately. It would be a great thing if polytimos was on there too.

Yeah something's just up with Yobit's listings.  They seem to not really list much anymore.  I hope they start again soon.

Yes cryptopia asked for US$45,000.  That's a terrible idea right now, the coin first needs to organically grow on smaller exchanges before it's worth spending that kind of money to list.  Especially since the devs have no pre-mine or ICO funds, we'd be asking them to spend their own money.  They have alreayd been quite generous to pay for Yobit (and likely they will pay for stocks.exchange, though that's not confirmed yet).

I am trying a few computers solomining to the same IP, I may have hit a limit "Looking live pool" and giving up is sgminer.

Having the GPU miner unavailable at launch was serious negligence, obviously!

Why don't you use the x64 version ?

There are several computers with Windows XP SP3 x32, Win7Pro x32. There is interest to run the mining on Win x32.

On my computer with OS Win10Pro 1709 x64, a processor Intel Core i3 (Sandy Bridge) with AVX instruction support , run only programs cpuminer-sse2.exe and cpuminer-sse42.exe.

cpuminer-aes-avx.exe - Application Error:
unknown software exception (0xc000001d) in the application at address 0x00000000005D8313 - CPU supports instruction
AVX.

cpuminer-aes-avx2.exe - Application Error:
unknown software exception (0xc000001d) in the application at address 0x00000000005FB1D3 - the processor does not support the instruction AVX2.

Nothing from them yet, but will be talking to them.

Also, the PolyShield MasterNode hosting/sharing service has decided upon the first 2 coins it would like to launch nodes for.

If interested, you will need to join the poly forums. https://forum.polytimos.net and message Simon to be added to the private discussion group.

I have messaged yobit to inquire about their lateness. Will keep everyone updated.

I also think I am going to start a giveaway to get poly promoted more, and get users on the forum.

Stick around and I will come back to post details.

Virus Total detects Trojans in the miners linked in this thread. Is this coin safe to mine?

I know a low of virus detection software will alarm for any sort of Miner, but a few say Trojan and you can't be too careful these days.  The sgminer-polytimus in the main post gives a pretty high number of detections

So maybe you should use another sgminer, not listed in first post? It's just fork, but u can use sgminer from the original developer. It's for u to decide, noone forces u.

Do you have a reason why you think masternodes will be inherently valuable to POLY, or do you want to include it just because it's the "buzz"?  We should focus on value, not buzz.  This shouldn't be a pump&dump coin, this is a no-premine-new-algo coin that has real services to offer.

But to answer you, devs said they may implement masternodes when PoW ends.  That might be a while though.
