Hi All, Im a noob to crypto but been into gaming for a while, this is my first post on bitcointalk. I have been quite active in the Polytimos forums but thought id put some info here as well. I have started a Polytimos dedicated youtube chan, called Polytimos Grapevine, please check out my vids below if you wish. I have a Dev QnA video in the works and a video explaining PShield too on the way. https://youtu.be/uJjTxnB1xL4 - Polytimos Crypto - What is it and how to mine it (Nvidia + Suprnova) https://youtu.be/1lRyTYkQuoY - Mine Polytimos (Yiimp) with Nvidia 37MH on 1080ti I have also got my mate who is into graphic design to draw up a few logos for Polytimos and PShield Masternode hosting services. The silver PShield logo idea seems to be the favorite so far but any feedback is appreciated. GOOOOO POLY!! I wanted to quote this so people could see. I like the logos. I'm going to use the Pshield logo I think, if that is okay. No problem, Go for it! The designer will be stoked.

Hello Guys,
Net Hash for Poly is almost 10,000.00 MH/s but 9,300.00 MH/s is from Suprnova ...thats not good for coin and decentralization so my question is, how can We change it?
Is there a way to contact with other multitools so they could add POLY? or Maybe as far as the difficulty is quite low we can just solo mine?
I would like to start solo mining but i haven't try this with any coin and my question is...
How can I solo mine POLY with CCminer on windows?

Just read bout the possible coin merge with xp and upcoming game, and I have to say I`m thrilled as I have a smaller amount of XP coins resiting in POS pool right now If you are interrested you can check it out yourself on me ref link. https://simplepospool.com/?ref=akiskalozYou can see that devs are actually doing great effort of makeing the currency emerge. Happy mining guy!

There's a POLY pool at https://cryptohub.online/pools/ but it doesn't get much attention as can be seen from the few POLY blocks mined there: https://cryptohub.online/blocks_hist/POLY/ . Cryptohub also allows users/miners to trade in its marketplace, stake coins, chat, operate faucets, etc. I suppose the difficulty might be quite high for solo-mining and wonder how many blocks people can generate if they don't have the mother-of-all rigs... it's probably better to distribute the hash using smaller pools such as Cryptohub (particularly if one is solo-mining and has a good rig... all it takes is a few larger miners moving into a smaller pool [becoming a whale there] to get more frequent rewards instead of the lucky blocks that they currently might mine). But yeah, the hash is not decentralized at all in this coin (10.95 GH/s at Suprnova.cc of 17.3 GH/s net => ~63% ); there's a heap of piggybacking-fetishists/aficionados here. Effectively, the owner of that pool owns the chain and is probably the number one POLY holder. Here's Bitcoin's hashrate distribution for comparison: https://blockchain.info/pools .

I miss when crypto was about decentralisation.

550 million as the total supply seems a bit much.

Crypto was created to liberate the individual. Decentralisation matters.

Although for me, I am a block chain or an outsider, but I think the coin is very attractive, both the concept of the world and the design are very new.

For anyone looking for another POLY pool that has some momentum, zpool.ca is a yiimp style pool, I've been using it for a couple weeks now. Pool hashrate is 550MH/s at the time of this post, it's been growing and has been a good option for avoiding the suprnova pool without having to use a pool with low hashrates.
I like the idea of POLY so I'm sticking around long-term for this one. Might even contribute to coding up tools or whatever might be useful.

I'm indifferent to suprnova, but others in this thread have been looking for options outside of it. I find zpool to be very easy to get into since it doesn't require registering an account or anything. I also like the yiimp style interfaces, personally, so that's another plus for zpool for me.

People become crazy and are investing in everything.. You can make lot of shitcoins then dump them, people seems don't care about it. They prefer to lose mostly of their money because they read how many become billionaires with cryptos. Look at ICOs mostly are scam, but people invest anyway. Even if polytimos has 1 satoshi value they prefer waste time and energy.
