I'm very curious to see how ETH will develop in the coming years: his founding team is likely to bring several changes on the table(POS for example?). Will they be good?

I think now investing in eth for long time is the right choice. Now eth price is 500$ but after 5-6 months it will be $1000.Eth or Ltc I think eth is the right choice because it has a great platform. Also Eth is called next bitcoin.
It seems to me that ethereum in 5 to 6 months can cost more than $ 1000. Ethereum looks more attractive for long-term investments than litecoin. Eth is a powerful platform on which there are many new projects, some of which are very successful.

No no, Litecoin is a high risc coin. What is technology of LTC? How often you are use it? And what is Ethereum? Ethereum is a base for a almost all new ICO token's. So, my advise - buy a lot of ETH and don't worry )

I still stick to my choice to choose eth rather than ltc for long term investment. now ltc has become one of the great coins but the ethereum platform will continue to grow and can serve as a good coin in the future.

Brand new to the cryptocurrency market.  Currently I hold a decent amount of LTC.  It's value has gone up nicely since I purchased it.  I've read all the predictions for LTC in 2018 and 2019.  It sounds promising as a long term hold...which is what I'm more comfortable doing...to reach $200 -$300 a coin.   I like the fact that there is a team in place trying hard to ensure it's future.  Charlie Lee may not be the most charismatic spokesman publicly but he's out there doing it which gives me confidence in his product.  Now, it's obvious that ETH is not going anywhere.  My question for the board is which outperforms the other in the next 5 years?  I tend to invest heavily in the direction that has the bigger upside.  Perhaps I should split my investing 50/50 regarding ETH and LTC?  What say the more experienced cryptocurrency gurus?

I have nothing against BTC.  I don't see it going anywhere.  It is the giant.  However, I feel the current price point is too high for my liking.

Thanks
I prefer changing your ltc to eth, ltc is just an old coin, and ethereum is the latest one, ethereum is active, and ethereum is a good investment for long term investment.

if in my opinion it is equally good but if viewed from the behavior which I choose ETHEREUM yes may be faster profit from most of the ETH because investors and community is obviously big name is also big ETHEREUM has been crowned as a competitor BITCOIN. so now ETHEREUM is priced at $ 512.77 on today (UPDATE). I'm sure ETHEREUM in the middle of this year will return to normal to $ 700 - $ 1000 again. hold long term this will be good

They are very different coins and you can't compare them really

The big thing they both have in common is they are first generation coins and both could be outdated in the medium term.

ETH could be virtually replaced by EOS/NEO/ADA

Litecoin is just a payment coin so could be replaced by anything that does it quicker and cheaper. Once LN gets going, BTC could make LTC obsolete

I feel that ETH is more worthy of holding because its status is too stable, especially for many of the current ICO projects that are used as a token base.

actually, in my oppinion, eth or ltc are best choices for long term investment, i think just buy them and how for long term, we can earn money from that, more and more companies accept these coins in payment.

If to choose between 2 coins, it seems that ETH is the best to mine
Although litecoin is also an excellent choice.

Evaluate each crypto currency methodically. Such an assessment of investments will give you the opportunity to compare the crypto-currencies among themselves, to consider different scenarios for the development of events on the market and to sleep peacefully, knowing that your investment decisions have a specific basis. A perfect valuation method does not exist

I do not understand why you choose between litecoin and Ethereum and forgot about bitcoin. It is better to buy bitcoin and Ethereum together.

I think it's better to buy Ethereum for the long term because I think Ethereum has a potentially very expensive price increase because the many ICOs created from Ethereum make the price of ethereum can be very expensive.

I am also very interested to invest in LTC lately although extra patience is required but I still believe that the future price will soar so in the search for income is very open and certainly does not make traders experience disappointment.

If I would be asked I will go for ETH, since I start working in this crypto world, ETH is one aside from BTC that i see price stability in long run. LTC in the other hand is not a bad choice though.
