I think that ETH has a very high potential and will be able to bring good money to those who invested in him.
I also like ethereum much more. It seems to me that litecoin can not boast anything, unlike ethereum. Ethereum looks much more promising product.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

Brand new to the cryptocurrency market.  Currently I hold a decent amount of LTC.  It's value has gone up nicely since I purchased it.  I've read all the predictions for LTC in 2018 and 2019.  It sounds promising as a long term hold...which is what I'm more comfortable doing...to reach $200 -$300 a coin.   I like the fact that there is a team in place trying hard to ensure it's future.  Charlie Lee may not be the most charismatic spokesman publicly but he's out there doing it which gives me confidence in his product.  Now, it's obvious that ETH is not going anywhere.  My question for the board is which outperforms the other in the next 5 years?  I tend to invest heavily in the direction that has the bigger upside.  Perhaps I should split my investing 50/50 regarding ETH and LTC?  What say the more experienced cryptocurrency gurus?

I have nothing against BTC.  I don't see it going anywhere.  It is the giant.  However, I feel the current price point is too high for my liking.

Thanks

I prefer ETH, It is the second . The first is bitcoin. I like both. Both is more valuable than litcoin. It is my opinion.

Instead of Ltc, I prefer ethereum. because ethereum is mostly used the coin for token creating.ethereum is also called as a supercomputer.so I would say for long-term ethereum would be good.

Hi
Both are good ETH and LTC But I have more ETH and I prefer this because there are lots of ICO are based on ETH
so as per my opinion ETH Price will be more up and good for long-term.

For long term investment, I prefer ETH, but everyone has a big difference. Maybe now I prefer to choose EOS as a long-term investment in the future.

I think it's better to choose Ethereum for more potent altcoin than Litecoin. Ethereum is now a second bitcoin placer I am pretty sure that this Ethereum is like bitcoin soon. But if want to buy when everyone sells and sells when everyone buys. This way you can make long-term investments and make bigger money.

The Ethereum Crypto currency is revolutionary in recent years. It appeared only in 2016 (creator Vitaliy Buterin). During this time, she managed to grow 1500 times. In 2017, it has grown 120 times.
Only in 2017 Ethereum began to occupy the first place in the list of the most promising currencies of the future. According to rumors, this coin was purchased by the world's largest corporations: Microsoft, Google, Apple.

I believe in litecoin because to know where your going; means you commit to your past. Accepting your actions and choices. You made them; and believed in it then. Why not believe in it now? Believe and HODL on!

Eth got a better chance to go up than ltc, ltc revived when bitcoin got trouble and since everything is fine with bitcoin, the fame of ltc is going down again, you can see from the chart the price ever stand still withouy any improvement for a long time

I'd better invest in eth for a long term.  Or you can divide the investment by 80 \ 20 (eth \ ltc).  But it seems to me the price for ltc will not grow very much.

I am more interested in eth, I think the future of eth exceeds from other altcoin. smart contracts and advanced technology are very influential in the future. therefore I am sure eth will continue to be pumped in next year.

For long term investment or holding, i'd choose therium over LTC because it have already proven its rate of increase on its market value on the past two years which surely give profit to those who invested before. And given that the market value is continuously growing even at this moment, etherium still is way better than LTC.

Litecoin is one of the most famous cryptocurrency having a great success on the market. Around 30% of all transactions are related to LTC and it's a strong argument for investing in this project. Just to be on the safe side, it's worth to spread investments in 50/50 manner between LTC and ETH.

if i were you, i will choose to invest in ethereum, litecoin has been born recently but its price has reach top so many times but also drop to bottom very fast, is can be extremely dangerous if an investor want to use money investing in long term profit. so the better way is to choose ethereum.

Ethereum is much better for the long-term compared to Litecoin. because Litecoin was held long term but the price actually fell and fell. so it is very dangerous to use Litecoin for the long term. Ethereum is much more suitable for long term.

ETH is definitely very suitable for long-term investment. If you are not comfortable, you can try to diversify your investment and hold ETH and LTC.

I agree with what you say. Ethereum and Litecoin are both good Altcoins and promising if held in the long run. Yes, it is true once you have to buy both with the same difference. Because both have good prospects for the future so you must have both coins.
