at the start of the launch, the ETH is always juxtaposed with LTC. I think the personal ETH or LTC are both good coins for the long term. proven every year the price of these coins continues to increase, and even continue to reach new records. your decision is true if you are sharing 50% for ETH and 50% for LTC

Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

LTC is stuck to lite version of Bitcoin motto. Ethereum is being actively refined and updated and Ethereum is the prime fuel for ICOs.
Both coins are great and still profitable. But I believe Ethereum would be more beneficial than Litecoin in the long run.

Yes! I’m definitely agree to you! Most of the ICOs is using ethereum as a medium for their token. And how the sudden increase of the value of the ETH shows how it will stay in the long run. ETH is the next coin to BTC everytime they update their system for a better and refined system for crypotocurrency.

It is better to invest in ETH than in LTC.  This is a more reliable coin for investment.  And ETH develops every day.

Brand new to the cryptocurrency market.  Currently I hold a decent amount of LTC.  It's value has gone up nicely since I purchased it.  I've read all the predictions for LTC in 2018 and 2019.  It sounds promising as a long term hold...which is what I'm more comfortable doing...to reach $200 -$300 a coin.   I like the fact that there is a team in place trying hard to ensure it's future.  Charlie Lee may not be the most charismatic spokesman publicly but he's out there doing it which gives me confidence in his product.  Now, it's obvious that ETH is not going anywhere.  My question for the board is which outperforms the other in the next 5 years?  I tend to invest heavily in the direction that has the bigger upside.  Perhaps I should split my investing 50/50 regarding ETH and LTC?  What say the more experienced cryptocurrency gurus?

I have nothing against BTC.  I don't see it going anywhere.  It is the giant.  However, I feel the current price point is too high for my liking.

Thanks

I preferred to LTC has a bright future and still stable coin. That doesn't mean i don't like ETH. But if you want to invest in long-term make the high percentage for LTC 3:1
changes that occur in Litecoin able to bring Litecin to become a very dependable can coin forward. in addition to the developments that Litecoin possesses when it is rapidly increasing, and I am sure for the future it is very capable to be relied upon. besides it is for Litecoin many experienced a pretty good change in the future. therefore Litecoin is very capable to be long term.

I would suggest Ethereum, because ICO usually only Ethereum and Bitcoin. LTC is rarely needed.

Litecoin or ethereum are both good coins to serve as long-term investments. currently high bitcoin prices are not suitable for small investors especially for beginners. I think litecoin and ethereum be the right choice.

Both Ethereum and Litecoin are good for long-term investments, each with its own advantages, but I think it seems more likely to ethereum, because digital ethereum coin number two after bitcoint has a high selling price, the choice is yours

I prefer ethereum coin because of the popularity in the market and most of the people are preferring to invest on eth more than any other cryptocurrency if their capital is not decent enough to invest a huge amount.

I would choose Litecoin because the Ethereum now does not represent a particular interest for investment, especially for long-term .

I would have better invested in ETH, because this is a more promising coin than LTC.

Ethereum and Litecoin both are potential coins of this crypto market but in my personal views ethereum is more potential to grow and it can gives you better returns as compare to Litecoin.

Finally, a coin will be determined by the desire of the investor to have it, no longer by who the author is. And it seems for now that Ethereum is more popular than Litecoin. Not a guarantee to predict market prices, but it seems very reasonable if the more popular a coin, the more potential it will be in the future.

Some coins in the market of crypto currencies are very suitable for long term investment. Some of them are ethereum and litecoin. according to me, litecoin is a much higher coin with the potential to increase in the future.

Indeed if you have to choose between ethereum with litecoin better choose ethereum,
because for me ethereum is more promising than litecoin,
and the future of ethereum is pretty good

My opinion and analysis suggest that ETH is the best option. LTC is coming to a level and it is stuck at those levels for a long time. ETH has become very valuable among the fastest growing cryptocurrencies in recent times. Of course, the second option, which has the highest volume in the market, is an important factor. That is my recommendation for short term and long term as ETH.

The question was asked in the autumn of 2017, at that time it was possible to buy any coin and after 2 months its value increased several times. Today for a long time I would buy an etherium. I do not think that litecoin will bring more profit than the ETH.
