I would invest in both coins. It seems to me that these are the main coins that can bring us profit this year. In addition, these coins are reliable and we do not need to worry about our investments.

It is better to invest in ETH than in LTC.  This is a more reliable coin for investment.  And ETH develops every day.

Definitely ETH. It has much more chances to grow than LTC. This coin develops and move forward. But where go LTC? Manipulation and nothing more. That's why my choice is unequivocal. I believe in the ETH and his team not in the LTC

Ethereum offers more than Litecoin. Litecoin is lite version of Bitcoin. Ethereum is upgraded version of Bitcoin  Cool Grin.

I think that Ethereum will bring a lot more profit at a long distance. This coin has a huge potential, the price can reach several thousand.

Yes, it is develops but it doesn't reflect that development to its price at the same time. We are watching Ethereum falling for weeks. I hope ETH will rise again soon. Otherwise bad days waiting for us.

For long term investment I prefer ETH, not LTC which is not good for future investment, but everyone is very different, maybe for now I prefer to choose ET for long term investment in the future.

Brand new to the cryptocurrency market.  Currently I hold a decent amount of LTC.  It's value has gone up nicely since I purchased it.  I've read all the predictions for LTC in 2018 and 2019.  It sounds promising as a long term hold...which is what I'm more comfortable doing...to reach $200 -$300 a coin.   I like the fact that there is a team in place trying hard to ensure it's future.  Charlie Lee may not be the most charismatic spokesman publicly but he's out there doing it which gives me confidence in his product.  Now, it's obvious that ETH is not going anywhere.  My question for the board is which outperforms the other in the next 5 years?  I tend to invest heavily in the direction that has the bigger upside.  Perhaps I should split my investing 50/50 regarding ETH and LTC?  What say the more experienced cryptocurrency gurus?

I have nothing against BTC.  I don't see it going anywhere.  It is the giant.  However, I feel the current price point is too high for my liking.

Thanks

Either coin is good and I think, everybody should have both of them in their portfolios! YOU SHOULDN'T GIVE PROMINENCE ONLY TO ETHEREUM OR LTC! Purchase equal amounts of them or 2/3 of ETH and 1/3 of LTC. Perfect time to do it!

No problem, but i think that litecoin is more than dead at the moment, take as reference the actual price, less than one hundred dollars, what is the point of buying a dead coin? i do not get it

in long term or short term ETH is the good for investment compare with LTC because ETH  is upgraded project and its a rulers after BTC, more ICOs depended by ETH so ETH will reach high price in long term

both are good coins and have great potential in the future if needed to choose one I personally choose Ethereum, Ethereum already has a lot of trust from the community so I believe Ethereum is reliable in the future and suitable for my investment.

in the long run, I would choose Ethereum. I think that Litecoin has exhausted its prospects.

I don't think LTC would be a good one for long term investment. In the big picture LTC has been very stable, didn't rise much, didn't fall much. It only ticks up and down and for day traders those ups & downs have been really good.

I prefer Ethereum for long-term because Ethereum can survive for a long time and can get a good profit because it has good growth and while LTC is currently also decreased and thus I prefer ETH for long-term

I prefer investing in LTC rather than ETH because although ETh is a strong money and profitable at anytime. LTC is a new money and have not that high price compare to ETH. I think it would be profitable at the long run.

I no more believe in LTC since Charlie Lee sold his share in LTC. That means he don't believe in his own product, so why should I do?
ETH is more useful for ICO collections, creation of tokens based on ERC-20 standard and so on, muchmore advantages rather than Litecoin

I see no reason to invest in LTC, when you can invest in ETH and in a few months to get a good profit.

I think  Ethereum would be more beneficial than Litecoin in the long run. Ethereum got a better chance to go up.

for long term investment I think LTC and ETH are equally good as can be seen from the development of its price so I suggest to divide your money to invest in its 2
