ETH or LTC long term?

Don't know how to tell. They're both really good. But i probably go with the ethereum over litecoin. It has more functionality, just in case if you want to invest

Compared with LTC, eth is definitely suitable for long-term investment. There are many assets of erc20 behind eth, but the development and fans of LTC are far from that of eth.

for long-term investments I prefer Ethereum,the quality of Ethereum proved to be the best of altcoin, Ethereum already has a huge support community so I'm sure the future is very bright and reliable in the future.

Both are good coints, but I am more inclined to Ethereum, to be an investment I think ethereum is better, but now the market conditions are sluggish, hopefully soon to be back stable

Brand new to the cryptocurrency market.  Currently I hold a decent amount of LTC.  It's value has gone up nicely since I purchased it.  I've read all the predictions for LTC in 2018 and 2019.  It sounds promising as a long term hold...which is what I'm more comfortable doing...to reach $200 -$300 a coin.   I like the fact that there is a team in place trying hard to ensure it's future.  Charlie Lee may not be the most charismatic spokesman publicly but he's out there doing it which gives me confidence in his product.  Now, it's obvious that ETH is not going anywhere.  My question for the board is which outperforms the other in the next 5 years?  I tend to invest heavily in the direction that has the bigger upside.  Perhaps I should split my investing 50/50 regarding ETH and LTC?  What say the more experienced cryptocurrency gurus? 

I have nothing against BTC.  I don't see it going anywhere.  It is the giant.  However, I feel the current price point is too high for my liking.

I do not know why people talking and count on LTC more than its potential some other coins like ADA or ICX or ETH is better that is my idea. because all of this coins is very useful for money transferring but also their applications.

As for now, I will never missed out on bitcoin especially that it is at its dip so expect a bounce any time before 2018 ends. Ethereum as always will be a good long term investment. I can understand op picking LTC as it is one of the oldest and one of the most popular coin.

eth and ltc are both good coins for long term investments, but for me its still ethereum I will choose because i can say it is better than litecoin base on the project. Ethereum is more promising and giving more profits in their project.

I am more interested in eth, I think the future of eth exceeds from other altcoin. smart contracts and advanced technology are very influential in the future. therefore I am sure eth will continue to be pumped in next year.

Eth is an altcoin that is always attractive to the investors and it is more than that everytime that everytime the price is declining but only to those who understand that fluctuation of crypto currency.  Litecoin is also a good one for investment but it is not the same as eth which makes it second to eth.

Movement and dynamics of Ethereum now on the market looks more stable and promising. Personally, I tend to trust ETH more, taking into account the opinions of experts and my intuition, but it is also possible to diversify my investments.

Personally I would guess that ETH is slightly better, purely because of the amount of applications we are starting to see using it and it’s still very early days.

Assuming early teething issues can be “fixed” then long term it has more potential than LTC.

That is not to say that LTC does not have value however. I think we will see more useful applications rising out of ETH than LTC.

The creators of LTC position the coin as a crypto-currency silver. The first years after its launch, lightcoin stably held a place in the top 3 by market capitalization. With the advent of ETH and Ripple, the "position" in the top three was lost, although in the top 10 of the crypto currency is stable. LTC is being traded on all the largest online exchanges.

I would not invest in LTC.  I think ETH has a better chance of a good price increase than LTC.

I prefer ethereum because of high price and good developers team. At my opinion ETH can make competition to bitcoin in future when people will understand how good ethereum is.

LTC. Time and time again LTC has shown its ability to weather negative news and retain its value over time while demonstrably slow but gradual growth. For the long-term, slow and gradual is what you want.

Definitely, ETH because Ethereum is a very good coin and most of the new coins which are launching almost all of them are using the blockchain of Ethereum and because of that the value of Ethereum keeps on increasing so its best to choose Ethereum out of these.

ETH and LTC are good coins and they have potential to grow ad grow. Investing in ETH and LTC is a good decision and you may not regret in what will happen in the next more days or in the near future. Holding those two coins is also a good decision we will made.
