Both coins are very well developed. Their popularity is growing every day! I invest in the following ratio: 40% Ethereum and 60% LTC.  Wink
These two coins are worthy of being in our portfolio. In what proportions - it should already be decided by everyone himself. I think that both of these projects will have success in the future, but I have great sympathy for ethereum.

Yes, I agree. While both ETH and LTC show strong promise for the future, if I'd had to choose between the two I'd also go with ETH because of its stability in price fluctuation.
In addition, ethereum is still a powerful platform, which has a large number of other projects, which adds points for ethereum. Also I think that the ETH team has better developers than LTC.

Both Litecoin and Ethereum are excellent choices for anyone who wants to invest in altcoin in the long run.
I also like ethereum because it is stable and most of Ico use this network for their smart contract so tested for fast transaction, I also have many tokens in ethereum network.

I suppose that both of the cryptocurrencies are very good but I trust Ethereum much more. as for Litecoin, I have a lot of doubts that it will be a great gainer very soon. Just invest in ETH, bro.

Brand new to the cryptocurrency market.  Currently I hold a decent amount of LTC.  It's value has gone up nicely since I purchased it.  I've read all the predictions for LTC in 2018 and 2019.  It sounds promising as a long term hold...which is what I'm more comfortable doing...to reach $200 -$300 a coin.   I like the fact that there is a team in place trying hard to ensure it's future.  Charlie Lee may not be the most charismatic spokesman publicly but he's out there doing it which gives me confidence in his product.  Now, it's obvious that ETH is not going anywhere.  My question for the board is which outperforms the other in the next 5 years?  I tend to invest heavily in the direction that has the bigger upside.  Perhaps I should split my investing 50/50 regarding ETH and LTC?  What say the more experienced cryptocurrency gurus?

I have nothing against BTC.  I don't see it going anywhere.  It is the giant.  However, I feel the current price point is too high for my liking.

Thanks
Personally, I prefer ethereum than LTC. Both of these crypto is really good in term of investing , short term or even long term. They have different function and way on how to earn. However, ETH is much higher compare to LTC, the value is better, the transaction is really fast and it has a big opportunity to the investors and users.

I would prefer ETH. as some big news about it coming. ETH is a cool platform for ICO.
After all, ltc is just a simple fork of bitcoin.

Ethereum is a very good coin has great potential for future success, can be seen from now many projects that use Ethereum, I think ETH reliable for the future, so the best choice for long-term investment is Ethereum.

I agree if you split your investment to ETH and ltc as both have good projects and already with merchants but between the two I would prefer ETH as lot of coins are using its ERC20 smart contracts which boost the demand of its token in the future

I have done this by dividing my Investments into apart from 30% to 50% on each of those including Ripple. Because if some of them will fall I will still have I hope to get some profit from others.

Indeed if we talk about ethereum or litecoin for long-term investments, of course, nicer ethereum,
because I think personally ethereum clearly has a bright and promising future,
but anyway litecoin good future we just see later developments

I think LTC in the future will not be a very popular coin and it is better to invest in ETH.

I think ETH has more chances for success and the price for ETH will grow significantly faster.

Now Eth and Ltc both coins are establish coins, but Eth is better from ltc and now eth position is second,Eth coins have great movement and also had bright future. Eth is a basic understanding of blockchain technology.so Eth would be best for long term.

I think this is a bad idea and even more so invest in Ripple.  ETH is the best coin and therefore I advise you to invest in ETH.

I don't see much perspective for LTC. It is practically not used for its intended purpose, and is used only for speculation. Ethereum is better suited for long-term investments.

Do not even think. In ethereum, the growth potential is much larger than that of litecoin. And where will the ltc be with the introduction of the lighting network?

I think after bitcoin, Eth is the next big thing in the crypto world but splitting your investment to cover both ETH and LTC is not a bad idea at all

I believe more in Ethereum for long-term investment than LTC. until now I have not seen LTC growth. LTC like coin is dead. different from ethereum that every day developer always update and have many contract on token. so it is very fast to grow.
