In my opinion, both coins are very promising coins. Both Litecoin and Ethereum are very good choices for any one who wants to invest in altcoins for long-term. These are two of the best bets for long term.

Finally, a coin will be determined by the desire of the investor to have it, no longer by who the author is. And it seems for now that Ethereum is more popular than Litecoin. Not a guarantee to predict market prices.

Ethereum is the best choice for long term investment, long-term eth will be better in the future, because it is currently showing a positive trend by showing a very good and stable price.

If you choose between these two coins, I will of course choose Ethereum. Litecoin in my opinion will not show any good growth results.

Litecoin has just recently entered the top 10 coins considered list of cryptocurrencies but the problem with litecoin is that it has not yet proved its consistency in value since the advent of the market in 2009 Eth along with bitcoin has been n the eyes of the top

Definitely ETH. Ethereum can see greater potential in the future.ETC is the original chain and its already great but, new icos and new projects are using the second version of ethereum and thats the reason making ethereum a well known coin and a destination of investors so, i will prefer eth.

Without a doubt, Both Litecoin and Ethereum are great decisions for any one needs to put resources into altcoins in long haul. They are constantly alluring for speculators and make their value ascend in long haul. In any case, better to not disregard Bitcoin. Put resources into Bitcoin too to not miss the opportunity. Bitcoin is as yet rising and will rise to an ever increasing extent.

Indeed you say there is also a truth if you have to choose between ethereum with litecoin for long-term investment of course I myself will also choose ethereum,
but anyway I think litecoin also has potential and we do not underestimate litecoin

I think investing in Ethereum will be a better choice. At present, many ICOs invest through Ethereum, which has greatly enhanced the popularity of Ethereum and the role of Ethereum in this market is becoming more and more important. So investing in it will be a better choice.

I see ETH or LTC are the top coin today, their technology is also updated by developers constantly. 2 coin is good for long term investment, but I prefer ETH more because I see its huge potential

Brand new to the cryptocurrency market.  Currently I hold a decent amount of LTC.  It's value has gone up nicely since I purchased it.  I've read all the predictions for LTC in 2018 and 2019.  It sounds promising as a long term hold...which is what I'm more comfortable doing...to reach $200 -$300 a coin.   I like the fact that there is a team in place trying hard to ensure it's future.  Charlie Lee may not be the most charismatic spokesman publicly but he's out there doing it which gives me confidence in his product.  Now, it's obvious that ETH is not going anywhere.  My question for the board is which outperforms the other in the next 5 years?  I tend to invest heavily in the direction that has the bigger upside.  Perhaps I should split my investing 50/50 regarding ETH and LTC?  What say the more experienced cryptocurrency gurus?

I have nothing against BTC.  I don't see it going anywhere.  It is the giant.  However, I feel the current price point is too high for my liking.

Thanks

I would say you don't just split it into 50-50. You expand your options but what you will invest more on would depend on yourrisk apetite. If you are a risk taker, then i would suggest go for LTC more than ETH. Plus include some altcoins or any other coins on the top 10 cryptos

ETH and LTC are potential coins. When looking at the development of Ethereum technology, I think Ethereum is good for long-term investment because I believe it will go even further in the future. So I'd prefer ETH. LTC is also very good, but it isn't as good as ETH. Just my opinion.

LTC is ok, but I think ETH has more potential, so ETH all day long.

Both of these coins can bring you profits in the long run. But I think that it is better to invest in Ethereum, because Litecoin will not bring you the desired results.

avsolutely eth, just buy it and hold this for this year only, ( although you can hold it for 3/4 year) , i think you can get big profit if you buy it and then hold it for this year, ltc is also a good for investment but not like eth.

Both are good coins. They can bring you good profits in the long run. But I would advise investing in ETH for a long term.  This is a more reliable coin for investment than LTC.

LTC and ETH are both stable coins, but I personally like to hold and invest in ETH because of its technology. there is continues improvement in the technology and many companies are following the technology behind Ehereum network. Due to the huge transactions happen with ETH every day, the coins show as a potential coin. I also invest in BTC and hold it as it is Pioneer of the Crypto Market and there are many traders coming in just because of Bitcoin and its popularity.
