I think the price should be more stable in order to pay salaries in Bitcoin. think about a normal family who receive its income in Bitcoin... if the price jump of -20% in a single month or ever in single week or a couple of days (it has already happened) this would be deleterious for that single family don't you think? Now, imagine thousands of average families that barely pay its expenses and debts every month and receive its income exclusively in Bitcoin... a drop of 5%, 10%, 20% will devastate their life...
In order to increase the adoption of BTC we must think of a new financial System where this scenarios don't happen without the help of a central authority.

I am convinced that there will be no one global currency. Each cryptocurrency has its own unique properties and scope. If bitcoin is a "digital gold", then Monero focuses on increased anonymity.

The good thing is we do not need to have only one currency, there is going to be a dominant currency, like the dollar right now or the British pound before that, right now the dominant cryptocurrency is bitcoin, and it is going to be the most dominant cryptocurrency for the foreseeable future but that may change, after all if satoshi nakamoto created bitcoin what it is stopping another satoshi nakamoto out there to create something even better.

It is hard to predict it right now. But as I see if some good news towards bitcoin continuously occured then, it is pretty to say that bitcoin price would probably hit more than what bitcoin did wayback last december 2017, probably it could double more or triple more, who knows?
