Yes sure no doubt that whenever you feel that the price is falling so you are supposed to hold it for a while and sell it when the desired price is is achieved but much better is the online trade that means to invest in digital trade you can earn handsome amount in return.

I think its more profitable to buy bitcoin, put it in a wallet and forget about it... Let it sit there for years don't do anything with it. What you are referring to is trading. As far as I'm concerned its the fastest way to lose money. But unfortunately its very popular here. That's the main reason you see people who have been here since 2011 but are not multi millionaires. Its because they thought they could predict the markets... The reality is, noone can... Also, life tends to get in the way. So even when we think we will replace the funds and buy lower, it never happens.

hello experts,
Is it more profitable to Hold BTCBTC or buying a lower price and selling at higher?
Thanks,

both of them are profitable but still depends on the amount of bitcoin you hold  or your current capital to buy bitcoin.  yet i guess its more profitable if you hold bitcoins  plus your also buying when theres a dip because your keep stacking your balance and your potential income while doing them both.

I think you are pertaining to one thing because when you hold your bitcoin you probably sell them when the price goes higher the only difference is I think the other thing is about short term holding because you can't avail to hold your bitcoin for a long period. But one thing is sure both will give you good profit just have the proper timing to sell

The key here is not what but when, or in short the right timing. You should know when to hold and when to buy and sell. Attitude is also everything. You cannot be too emotional in playing this cryptocurrency. Try to risk and assess well base on the charts. The challenge with buy and sell is the transaction fee, so you also have to consider that. Just remember that it does not matter if the prices are going down, as long as you are not yet selling it at that rate then loss is still unrealized. Hold it for longer until the market performance went better.

I would subscribe to buy low and selling high rather than holding in your wallet and keeping long term and the reason is simple. Bitcoin price is volatile if your long term is 6 months, then there is enough time within the period of keeping the bitcoin there and the expected time of maturity.

During this period a lot of high and low periods would have been witnessed which means a lot of opportunities would have been created that an individual would catch into an possibility of multiplying his btc is endless. Doing it on a platform that allows fiat exchange and vice versa makes that a possibility. Profit is sure after 6 months but much more profit is guaranteed with the right timing of decision making.

I think holding and buy sell both is good but holding takes a long time to earn profits while buying at low prices and selling when high prices will get a faster profit

Theoretically trading may be more profitable, if one is able to predict price movements, but it requires a lot of skills, experience, time and a bit of luck. I've tried both and I prefer to hold and buy more at the dips. With the long-term upward trend of bitcoin I'm very reluctant to sell because there is always a possibility that I would never be able to rebuy at a lower price.

buy some with money that you already afford if the price will down and not all your money, hold it or maybe think that you not save any bitcoin, wait for the future, spend some money on buy - sell bitcoin with short trade, and the rest for back ups, daily life, etc

actually it depends on the situation and conditions, if you buy it when bitcoin price is still at 2000 usd, you better to hold it, but now bitcoin price is at 7000 usd, i think being a fast trader currently is more profitable.

Ok great , thanks again for all ur expert opinions , I will hold for now on my ledger nano until first qtr of 2018 and then analyse.

Same here, I am holding BTC for the long term because I am not an experienced trader and I find holding for the long term to be more profitable.

I cant believe you actually need to ask this question. Obviously buying lower and selling higher is going to be more profitable than just holding, because you are essentially trading for profit as opposed to not profiting off of the swings. If you profit off every swing you will end up with more BTC than if you just hold, but the problem comes, or challenge rather, is that if you make mistakes judging the market then you could end up selling when the price is going up but it continues rising too high and you need to buy back in, or you could buy in at the top and it crashes right after and you will lose money. HODLing stops this from happening, so it is less risky, and you know what they say... bigger the risk, bigger the reward, but also could come back to haunt you, so just make sure you always do your homework.

A mathematical analysis for each coin is provided, such a mathematical technique that you should use before buying selling any coin is the Elliot wave analysis , this gives you an idea of the possible future price values of the coin based on the candlestick charts of the coins, its a very awesome and technical technique and easy to use.

I believe that both options are profitable but with the second option of buying lower and selling higher, it takes a lot of time and dedications to always watch the current value so that you will be always up to date to and cash out when the time is eventually right.

Wink Wink Bitcoin price goes up and down. If the supply is high, the price is low. Those traders who buy those products at that time. When its price increases, it sells it. This is the main mantra of business.  Wink Wink

Definitely, yes. Holding btc is the best way to do during bear market and at the same time the best time to buy btc also at a lower price. Patience is needed while waiting for the right bullish market in order to gain good profit even if it cost to wait more months.

Holding BTC for long term is more profitable, but if are more in buying lower price and sell at high I think is more comfortable, for me you can do both.

It's really profitable to hold a bitcoin for a long time. Because of its price increases, you can also buy at a cheap price and sell it at high prices. And you just know them and decide on which one you want.

it could give profit either way. if you have the patience and can hold for a long time that would be great. also buying at low price and selling at high price can give you a return of investment much faster. and maybe you can do both. win for a short term and a long term investment
