I guess is because in normal public, people always use Bitcoins as a term for crypto currecies you rarely will hear they use terms like altcoins or Etherum, litecoins and so on. Yes, that was really one pf the reasons. On my study, as long as bitcoin has that really great number of new investors, price of this will continue to raise. Also, bitcoin price becomes higher than other because it is the most popular cryptocurrencies and older than others. Bitcoin has that higher price because many people continue to use this because it is really the safest crypto currency of all.

I think you are not right. Most people know very well what are they buying. They are buying product with limited supply and high demand. As long as the supply stay low and the demand is growing, the price will raise.
