About my bet with my friends. Apparently I'll lose))) It's not exactly, but playing for a week 6-7k bitcoin will be able only if a New Year's Miracle happens! I believe in miracles. But not to the same extent))) I'll prepare my money and I'll wait for the results of the year. The price of bitcoin is so high because of the hype that is going on the bitcoin and resulted for other people to get hype also and to get into bitcoin world because they are experiencing the FOMO fever which they are very afraid to be missed out for this opportunity so they are keep on jumping into bitcoin and hoping for the best for their made investments.

Bitcoin is basic one of all crypto world. It is the old one so it is too reliable. Everybody who dont know about it technology, trust bitcoin. I think its price not so high it will raise and reach 20.000 $ around after cristmast .

Is price of bitcoin so high (compared to altcoins) because it is so much superior or is it just because it is THE coin - the original one.

Because bitcoin start 2011 and most of altcoins after 2014.also big sites accept bitcoin only "localbitcoin, paxful,...."

it is easy to get altcoin when have bitcoin.

Bitcoin supposedly very high and more expensive today, it might br doubled or tripled but due to thousands of new cryptocurrencies and ICOs today Bitcoin is just laying in the clouds and barely climb another atmosphere.
Bitcoin price is so high because people find it more profitable than any Altcoins.

There's nothing wrong on knowing what's and why's because the Crypto-Currency is unpredictable. We should only concern our investments, investing in Cryptocurrency is the most profitable option if you know the risks.

It's so high mainly because of thousands of users flocking to buy a piece so that they can ride Bitcoin until it reaches $100k, $200k, or even $1mil as so frequently hyped on media.

Indeed, nobody wants to get rich and rich people wanting more money than what they have so Bitcoin is one of the things that could offer you jaw dropping profits and especially when you're going to wait a little longer because we all know that Bitcoin and Altcoins will eventually rise. So people are eager to invest.

Bitcoin invented in 2008 not 2011. The price of bitcoin is higher than others altcoins not because it was released before altcoin, i think the price of bitcoin is high because bitcoin is more and more popular, many people knew to bitcoin and they expect to be own it so demand is too big but in fact bitcoin only have 21 millions, this make the price of bitcoin is increasing very fast.

Because it became popular among the population, all news feeds filled out, people invest, the price grows ,for today there is a correction and already the price I think is close to that which should be

I think BTC price will continue rising for a few years, based on increasing demand (media) and the limited number of coins. They can not just print bitcoins, same as they do with USD!

Here's a topic with a high price I think it will pop up every time it grows (say percentages at 5% per day) But analysts on the "Why" is not enough. In general, price jumps should not bother the investor who has come "for a long time". If you wait for a level of 50-100k you are calm and relaxed ...
