Actually today I watched a video on facebook which is about spending bitcoin and gold in USA,it says it is difficult to spend bitcoin but some places are accepting bitcoins accepting as payment like supermarket,restaurants and some institutions.But no one accepting gold as payment then why still people says gold is better?
Probably because gold is more stable and always in price. I think gold is a bit more reliable than bitcoin, of course, bitcoin is no worse than gold, but because of its inconstancy people are afraid to keep bitcoin and prefer gold. This is my personal opinion. |

maybe because gold is something you can hold physically and can assure you that is really there. Unlike bitcoin which is a technological investment that can be stolen to you easily through technological knowledge which is totally different from how you can keep gold.

people say bitcoin is better than gold because of the gold year you are waiting for before you make a profit if bitcoin is just a little bit you are waiting for especially when investing your choice.
The answer to this is quite simple with many other suggestions from different other people on this forum, for me if someone is saying that gold is better than I assume that he saying it because of some different statistics and figures, like the population of the world is around 7 billion and all the people know about the gold and its worth, whereas just less than half of the population of the world knows about the bitcoin and the crypto currency, therefore argument can be valid for them. |

A more stable price is a consideration for many people to say gold is better than bitcoin, and I think this is fair because we must admit that 100% of people in this world receive gold while bitcoin users are still unclear because there is no exact data.
Many people says that gold is better over bitcoin because a lot people here in crypto is still not convince with bitcoin and for me a lot of people here in crypto is still not experiencing the real benefits that bitcoin can give to them that's why they keep saying that gold is better. |

Compared to the value indeed bitcoin more expensive than Gold but many people still interested with gold. Because widely used as jewelry that we know many people are using it and more popular than bitcoin. I'm not too interested in gold, I just love bitcoin which has many functions one of them as any payment.

In my opinion, Long time ago gold was used for trading or lets say barter of commodities, and until now we are using gold that is valuable and standard,and gold is legal to all countries, while bitcoin is not yet popular and legal in some countries. |

Gold has been popular for a long time, I can say that it has created a brand while bitcoin can only say is a new guy and it's just growing, except for the price of bitcoin higher than gold and higher profits, it does not have anything to make many people believe in. Having a brand is always better than being anonymous because the brand is evidence of safety, stability and development, many people say better gold is also a logical thing, but this will soon change when Bitcoin become a new brand |

Gold was here since beginning, bitcoin here only 8+ years, and most of people still don't know, what will happen with bitcoin in future and with other cryptocurrencies. Plus gold is more stable, than bitcoin, so even if right now hard to spend gold, it's still better to hold money in gold if you want stability, plus let's don't forget about jewelry what you can make from gold.

We should not initially forget that Gold is a physical, valuable, durable and extensive valuable metal where other shining metals are generated, and it has been in existence for a very long time circulating around the whole world as the most valuable items somehow in the world. Bitcoin is still newly generated in about 10 years and has not gained its expected ground yet in all countries of the world, though its volatility may at some points turns its prices higher than that of Gold. But still, this does not yet made it accommodated by all countries.

People say gold is better because they don't have idea about bitcoin as our long term and profitable investment. They say gold is better because it has been an investment since then even when the time of our ancestors. The value of gold is increasing and is consistent compared to bitcoin which is volatile. |

Gold is better in the sense that its value will remain even if the whole crypto world collapses. If you take into account the convenience of the calculation, of course it is easier to pay several electronic coins than chipping a piece of gold or bring a bar of gold and ask for change. I think gold is the best investment that can never be replaced, gold can be accepted in all countries, there is no controversy, gold prices are always stable and never drop or rise more than 10% per day, while bitcoin is still a lot of controversy and banned in many countries.

maybe those who say gold better, because they want to invest safely. basically we know that these bitcoins are risky and unstable. they are afraid to speculate about bitcoin investments because they are too risky. if indeed we want to bet, then this bitcoin is a very profitable investment.
