Why people says gold is better?

There is really no reason to compare the two. Gold has been around for so long that it has become a commodity for majority of nations. It has been the basis of economic growth and stability for centuries especially during the medieval times. And it is being used in various comercialized products of high importance and value. Bitcoin on the other hand is digital which is therefore internet based. Though it boasts its high value and is being used for a lot of transactions today, its use is still limited.

Gold is physical and very basic. A kid may see a piece of gold and may already know what to do with it. Unlike with Bitcoin which is more complicated and technical that one would need to do some research on it. But one advantage of Bitcoin over gold is that it is an open source wherein anyone can have access to. Unlike gold which is nowadays scarce and is quite difficult to get our hands on.

I think they want gold because the price of gold will always grow up unlike bitcoin there are sometimes the price of bitcoin will go down and the gold you can hold it for how many years and the gold will never be lost.

Bitcoin is intangibleness and it is a digital currency. Gold is not. People prefer to invest in things that they can see and hold in real life. So thats why they say gold is better.

they say that gold is better because some people are not aware in bitcoin and they don't know how to use it that's why they still love gold to use it every where they go.

Don't know if anyone is still reading up on this thread but here are two reasons why some people like Gold over Bitcoin.

1. Durability
Unlike Bitcoin (or any other cryptocurrencies for this matter), Gold is not vulnerable to hackers. People could however, steal it physically, but there is far less chance that someone would rob your Gold physically in comparison to someone hacking your Bitcoin wallet.
2. Lower Volatility ------> Lower Stress
This can really be a disadvantage for Gold as well but it is also possibly considered to be an advantage. Some people don't want to deal with the stress of their Bitcoin rising or crashing 50% on a daily basis. So, instead, they would prefer to hold Gold which is less volatile.

These are just some reasons why people prefer Gold over Bitcoin. I, myself, still value Bitcoin more since I believe the benefits outweigh the issues.

I think why people say gold is better, maybe because gold has been a stock or asset since time immemorial and gold has popularity then gold is better but if we have money of course we can buy gold but gold can not buy money, can only be sold so i think gold is no better

What do you mean gold can not buy money? I dont understand this.
However, bitcoin and gold are two different things. Digital and real so i could not say which one is better.
Both two things have pros and cons so i think they are not here to be compared.

I think gold is better than bitcoin since its value is not volatile unlike bitcoin. But with even it's many uses, bitcoin is still superior in terms for ease of trade and price growth. But I still believe bitcoin and other cryptos are better and more profitable investment as long as you know the right formula on when to buy or sell.

Actually today I watched a video on facebook which is about spending bitcoin and gold in USA,it says it is difficult to spend bitcoin but some places are accepting bitcoins accepting as payment like supermarket,restaurants and some institutions.But no one accepting gold as payment then why still people says gold is better?

Bitcoin will never stabil as long as there are not many legalized by countries, as we know that currently only a few countries legalize bitcoin and in the current global market of bitcoin marketcap that reaches $ 175 billion is too little to be easily speculated.

Well, we have different aspects and beliefs in life. Some people may say gold is better than bitcoin will some people will prefer having bitcoin. For me, bitcoin is better it is because cryptocurrencies will be our future money so it will be more profitable for us to have cryptocurrencies as early as possible because it will benefit us in the future.

it is currently popular again bitcoin and in many places in payments already many who use bitcoin, so the depositors of gold assets want to memumingkan back their gold assets because after the release of bitcoin and buming, gold is rarely ogled by the community (this is the cause).

For me i think gold is better because of iit exists for more than how many years its natural, its tangible, physical. And  it is been existing since the times of where gold coins are the means of payment, so yeah gold is better and i think gold cannot be paid directly now to some stores but bitcoun i guess can be paid to some stores. Gold is better because it's a physical item that we can keep. It can be easily converted  if we need cash. With bitcoin and other digital currencies we can only rely on trust on whoever is maintaining the program. We can still hear news that hackers was able to penetrate some cryptos. But let's hope that the security will improve in the coming days.

Gold is really better when it comes to physical investment but with digital investment still bitcoin is better. When comparing both, a lot of people would prefer gold as they can also easily convert this to their local currency as it is available everywhere but when it comes to profitability still bitcoin could give you a lot more earnings than gold.

In my own opinion, people would say gold is better than bitcoin because gold is tangible, low risk and its value always appreciate over time. You get to hold of it therefore it is much controllable. There is security when you can get a hold of something.

Bitcoin on the other hand is over the internet and volatile. Price may go up and high which is a bit unpredictable. Theremore, makes it very high risk. When you cannot control of something, you feel insecurity and uncertainty.

With gold, you can also easily convert it into cash (by selling or pawning) in real time. Unlike bitcoin or cryptocurrency, it may take few minutes depending on the ‘workers on the blockchain’.

However, for me, both are assets. It's good to have either one but best to have both.
