Actually today I watched a video on facebook which is about spending bitcoin and gold in USA,it says it is difficult to spend bitcoin but some places are accepting bitcoins accepting as payment like supermarket,restaurants and some institutions.But no one accepting gold as payment then why still people says gold is better?
Gold is universal, though bitcoin too. But some other counties are still not accepted bitcoin yet. Because they are not accepting gold as payment for the reason " ALL THAT GLITTERS ARE NOT GOLD ". Gold is still more popular than bitcoin, so I think bitcoin should gets it popularity first to overcome gold. |

Why do people say that? I think the gold shaped real and different from bitcoin. But it takes a long time if you want to invest in gold than by investing in bitcoin. Investing in gold also has a very small risk because gold I think will only continue to rise slowly.

Bitcoin is essentially an investment for the youth and the middle-aged. Only a very few seniors have shown interest in BTC. Most of the billionaires in their 70s and 80s, such as Warren Buffet and Bill Gates remain hostile to the very concept of crypto-currency. Perhaps they are unable to understand the new technology.

Every people have own opinion, People say gold is better it is because the value and properties of gold is forever. Gold is a valuable metal, the purpose of gold is different from that of Bitcoin. Besides that gold has been generally accepted in the world. While bitcoin now is still controversy. So for me, gold and Bitcoin are good, both have their own values.

It may depend on who's talking, what age, or from whose generation. Maybe those who say that are those who haven't appreciated yet the beauty of cryptocurrency or digital currency. Yes, gold is really good because of it's value. But investing on bitcoin is also really good. If you understand more the technology behind bitcoin, then you would appreciate it more. |

May be, people think gold is better only because gold is stable for a long time. Gold is physical.
Bitcoin is young project. He does not have age and authority of gold.
Personally, I think there is not compare gold and bitcoin. These are fundamentally different things.

Gold is better than bitcoin Although gold has many disadvantages in payment, gold is internationally recognized, the value of gold is less volatile than bitcoin. And gold is a real asset. Used for jewelery purposes. Everyone believes and takes peace of mind. Bitcoin price fluctuates frequently. Bitcoin is a virtual currency that has not been recognized internationally. Hold a bit more risky. everyone is scared. so gold is said to be better than bitcoin. |

Just think about it because answer is obvious. What do you need nowadays to proof something? Proofs  Gold have proof of his value because it's physical item, bitcoin isn't. |

I believe one of the main reason is because gold have already been recognized as one of the most valuable assets to collect since many years ago, and thus many investors would still prefer to invest into gold as the price of gold is much more stable too if you compare it with bitcoin.

Probably from some people who say gold is better than bitcoin, they only see gold from one side that is a more stable price. They do not see that in the future bitcoin can be used for any payment, it can even be used as a long-term asset. |

I think they say that gold is better because gold is stable by it's price and gold are recognized by the most valuable assets, they collecting gold by their favorite collection. But bitcoin also can be used for any payment. And I think it can be use in a long term. |

Gold is better because they can feel it and see it. Actually you they can choose Bitcoin if they can see it. Another thing is Gold came from our natural resources so it is hard to find and bigger in value unlike in Bitcoin the price varies but I think when the Bitcoin stand still in the next two decades it can meet the expectation of a Gold investors. Also the price of Gold is directly proportional to the time, the value of Gold is kept on increasing unlike the value of Bitcoin it stand still also it decreases sometimes. But when it comes to nature lover persons I think they prefer the Bitcoin because it will not harm our mother earth like now a days the Gold is very hard to find.

Probably from some people who say gold is better than bitcoin, they only see gold from one side that is a more stable price. They do not see that in the future bitcoin can be used for any payment, it can even be used as a long-term asset. I would say Bitcoin is better investment BECAUSE of unstable price. The more unstable the price the more profit can be gained. Gold price fluctuate too but not so much and in short period of time as Bitcoin's. |

I say its not better than any type or kind of investment like Bitcoin. Gold have its own characteristics, if you have fear about your Bitcoin wallet getting hacked by hackers, there are more chances that your physical Gold can be stolen, even if you put it inside a vault. however, Gold can be accepted by almost anyone compared to Bitcoin, if they are not aware of it, they will rather accept Gold over Bitcoin.

They think gold is more secure compared to cryptos including bitcoin and others. This is the main reasoning behind their arguments as far as I know. |
