I'm watching the bitcoin for a few months now, saw it going up from $2,000 to over $8,000 in just 6 months.
What shook me up this morning is a notification I got by email saying it's over $8,000!! Bitcoin is up by 43% in a single month.
The big question is, will we see $10K soon, perhaps before the end of the year, or what are you guys expecting to see in the next few months?
I've been trading Forex in the past, today mainly US Stocks, but have no clue what to expect from Bitcoin.
Is it still a good time to buy, or should I wait more and see what's going on in the next 6 months? Any thoughts?

I think that it`s quite late for the new investors ,who want to jump in and buy bitcoins.
They might make some profits for sure,but the huge profits will stay for the big whales and early adopters who
bought bitcoin a few years ago and continue to hold.You have experience with forex trading and you have to already know that nobody can predict the market and searching for such advice is pointless.
If you know how to trade,you probably know how to make technical and fundamental analysis,use your skills.

What about trying to wait for the price of the bitcoin goes down again? These days people got scared caused by lost to not to buy the bitcoin. Some or a lot of people are accumulating the more increase in the future. When some expert already said the same with others about the potential of the bitcoin and it makes to buy at every price of bitcoin makes rational. |

According to your own analysis bitcoin reach to $8000 in just six months from $2000. There might comes a question to many people mind that what's the reason behind this success of bitcoin. The only reason I see that the world has come to know the reality and importance of bitcoin and the new idea of a financial system that it gifted to the world. Lots of people who were against bitcoin earlier are finally convinced that it exits with a concrete reason. That's why bitcoin is progressing and will keep on progressing in future.
If you don't buy it today then you will not be able to buy the same quantity of bitcoin in the current price after six months. It's price will be far high from now.

if you search the title of this topic word by word you can find at least a dozen topics asking the same question, maybe even hundreds of them. and if you pay attention to the dates of each of these topics you can see they have been asked from early days when bitcoin price was much lower than $100 and they will probably ask the same question when price is $100,000 too. and the answer is always YES.

Oh! Too bad you have only been watching rather than taking action. You have been into stocks and forex and at least you should have been able to understand all the risks involved. The truth is, if you have been following the news, you should know by now that there is a whole lot coming up for bitcoin in the future which definitely gives it a huge room for growth. So, it is better to be late now than ever when you will have to come back here next year when the price is maybe $20000 to say you have still not gotten in. Catch the flow now until you end up being a laggard.

It's never too late to invest in BTC,the only difference is that this investment is now much more expensive than at the beginning of this year, or years ago.So every new investor asks the same question and has the same fears,it is not easy to invest money in something worth 8000$+ per coin.
The main concern is whether and how much further prices can go up in future and whether the price can goes down.This is always a risk every new investor need to take when it comes to BTC.Not so long ago there was a saying that any buying under 1000$ per BTC is cheap,can we now say that any buying under 10000$ is cheap BTC?

I think seeing 10000$ by the end of the year is too soon IMO, bitcoin is into this continuous bullish trend already and somehow at some point I still expect that there would be dump that is on the same scale as to what happened after Mt. Gox hack. If you don't know about it, you can easily searched what happened after Mt. Gox hack. Is it still a good time to buy, or should I wait more and see what's going on in the next 6 months? Any thoughts?
I still think that it is a good time to buy, but buying in at this price ranges is not the best. Wait a little for a correction before considering to hodl it. |

I am not an expert actually in Bitcoin nor with that forex thing but one thing for sure is that Bitcoin is actually a different beasts though there will always be similarities since we are dealing here in the open market and there are similar forces playing everyday. Bitcoin has a limited supply while we know that in fiat money any central bank can just order to print more. As to your query whether it is still good to buy Bitcoin, my answer to that is a big yes but you need a big money if you want to buy a piece much more if you plan to hoard a basket of Bitcoin into your chosen wallet. The general sentiment of the market is that soon we will wake up and realize that Bitcoin has already surpassed the $10,000 level...this may or may not happen this year but definitely by next year it would be an easy goal for Bitcoin. After getting into so many different type of challenges, Bitcoin is now stronger, better and more confident than ever. |

It is always a good time to buy because the price will most likely eclipse whatever price you buy it for. No one really knows what to expect, other than for it to increase and increase and increase. It sounds unsustainable, but it has been sustainable for a while now.

It is never a good time to buy Bitcoin! Haven't you read all the negative MSM articles? Don't you know it is a fraud and a scam? Can't you see that it'll crash any day now?
You should run far away from Bitcoin, and never buy any ever. Especially not right now. It will never benefit your life to hold or spend it. You should always make sure to listen to what the industry experts have to say about Bitcoin, listen to your friends, family, and co-workers, and try not to think for yourself. Do NOT think for yourself! In fact, just follow the crowd sentiment on this one.
And if you do slip up and get a wild hair to buy some, you should dump it almost immediately after it rises like $5 or $10.

Compared to were bitcoin price will be in future now is still the best time to buy bitcoin and make a great gain in years to come. At $8,000 is still a cheap price compared to $500,000 that mackafee said we would be before 2022. However, buying and holding bitcoin entail a lot of risk and your should know how this nature of risk to reward works before investing into it.

Yeah true, but now since bitcoin is in demand in any part of digital currency, I think it's not bad if you buy and save some numbers of bitcoin in your wallet as investment. Because I'm pretty sure that bitcoin value you invest in your wallet will be raising up in the following days. So maybe investing in bitcoin now are also good, depending on how you can manage it. |

As it rised from 500 ish to 1800 ish, I told my friend, don´t buy bitcoins it´s pure gamble. I would say the exact same thing now. Nobody knows. It´s pure gambling. One really bad news and we´ll back to way lower prices. One really good news and we see the moon... Invest money you can afford to lose.
