Anyone feeling the way I am: Bitcoin is about to jump up to 10k!

We have broken 8k and the next stop seems to be 10k. This would mean a 25% increase in the price. If Alts follow the pattern from before (Bitcoin Gold and Segwit 2x forks) we can expect a drop of 30-40% in the Alts. I will probably sell my Alts and wait for the coming drop. Or does anyone think that Alts will rise along with Bitcoin? What are your plans for the Alts in the coming week/month?

Good call first off mate props on that. Second but more importantly alts have held most of their value if not increased in the past two weeks which is a very good sign to me. It is signaling good things to come and I think once bitcoin futures start to take off you will see some of that money come pouring over into altcoins.

Honestly, recently I have been getting the feeling that altcoins are just a waste of time. Bitcoin is becoming a threat to altcoins, once I start making profit from my initial investment then I sell and hold bitcoin. Its funny since the value suppases the amount we bought for in dollars but not in bitcoins.

Unfortunately I have a lot of alts that I have been holding for several months with the hope of recovering the losses that I have been dragging since the middle of the year, but as the price of bitcoin increases, it seems more difficult for me to reach a full recovery.

Therefore I have decided not to buy more altcoins and focus on a few of them as a long-term investment.

We have already broken the 10k barrier which the next target would be 11k which might be possible on next year or even on this month of Dec since we are still on November yet which I didn't really expect for the price to rose up fast like this.For now it is somehow stabilizing which anytime it would rally up again but I do expect if theres a rise then there would be always a price corrections later on.

The Alts are doing well because Bitcoin is doing well but the main reason is the thousands of newcomers to Crypto each day.

Look at the total market cap it is now at 240 Billion and 6 months ago it was at 60 Billion while those figures a peanuts compared to the Stock Exchanges, there is no denying the number of new investors continues to rise therefore so does the price of Bitcoin.

My prediction 10k by Early January if not before Christmas.  

News flash: It's already reached 10k. On that note, I agree with the idea that the prices of altcoins are correlative with the price of bitcoin. Although it may increase in different paces, it would soon follow suit because that how the market goes. However, I think there will be some exceptional altcoins that will increase at a more steady and faster pace, and that's where most people should invest in.

Bitcoin always exceeds expectations!

Now that some coins are being pumped along with btc's bullrun, I'm going to take this opportunity to consolidate my portfolio while its in the green.
I had spread my investments accross 8 different coins because I was paranoid of losing a lot.  Now that I have more knowledge I am ready to put them in 2 projects that I believe will stand the test of time.

So it saddens me, but I am going to say bye bye to my golem and ark and put it in monero.
And then I'm going to move my decred and funfair and put it in Waves.

And the one that makes me the most sad, is I'm going to let go of OMG and just put it in btc.

I've got a bit in OTN also at the moment but I think I'll hold on to that one a little more.

We've all seen this coming. Bitcoin will rise. My prediction for 10k was either before this year ends or early next year. It will not end in 10k though. Im looking at 15k by 1st or 2nd quarter of next year. The more the world knows about biycoin, the more the value will rise. As for the alts, its gonna go in the same manner as bitcoin. As people get to know bitcoin, they will also discover the alts. So hang in there.

I didn't think $10k would come so soon! And i'm surprised that most alts held their value throughout this last leg. I'm hoping BTC runs out of steam for a little bit to see how the market will behave in relation to altcoins, i think we're due for another big alt bull run very soon.

That's right don't sell your altcoin on the lower price, maybe the red mark are now on the altcoin but it doesn't mean that altcoin will not increase again,Too much bigger you will lose when you sell your altcoin at a low price, just wait until the altcoin going up again.

i definitely hold good altcoins because they follow the same path bitcoin has. they started to grow already.
whole crypto currency market is growing. it's not a good idea to stay in fiat for times like this.

Bitcoin has broken the 10,000usd mark. Ath now. Unbelievable huh. But all the alts has raised in price also if you been watching. Maybe because of all the new money coming into crypto lately, as bitcoin is still only holding above 50% of the market cap. Lets hope this trend is permanent and this growth will keep heading upwards.
The last year usually bitcoin spikes alt coins would take a beating, but now it seems like alts are moving up at a fast pace along with bitcoin. Seems like 2018 will be a great year for everything crypto.

bitcoin was already exceed on the $10000 marks, but nothing for me nothings to change how to use other altcoin that i have, i will do my usual dos. Ill trade if i need cash and Ill hold if not necessary.

I will keep altcoin for a long time to come because I believe altcoin will keep rising in price until whenever. because altcoin at this time the price is very good. I will also save bitcoin for investment.
