GPU miner working now, for pool owners go here for the straks module:

https://github.com/DeckerSU/yiimp/tree/straks

Difficulty rising already - looks like we are ready Smiley

Big thanks to DeckerSU!

Any bounty for mister DeckerSU?

The team already said he is on the list for a bounty from the dev funds.

Join the discord to get all informations as fast as possible.

The reward for finding the blocks is still zero?

Yes , it will start from 10080 as covered many times before.
After 10,800 blocks, does the regular ccmainer work or do we need a new miner for this algo ?

Latest ccminer should work , you can test it already on any of the pools (you can find them on discord in the miningpools channel)

Code:
-a lyra2v2 -o stratum+tcp://pool.bsod.pw:4533 -u yourwalletaddresshere  -p c=STRAKS

Don't forget to use STRAKS as password, or your shares will be lost !!!
Is it supposed to be c=STRAKS or is it the symbol c=STAK like on other pools?
Thanks

Let's clarify:
Prior to block 10080 there will be no reward for mining and there will not be mining on the pool either. What is the reason for this? Now mining in some kind of test mode or is there a pre-mine? After block 10080, it will be possible to mine on the pool mpool.mooo.com but the mining will be possible only on the CPU, until the update for the miner for the modified algorithm lyra2v2 comes out .. I understood everything correctly, are there any corrections?
I also wonder why there is no reward.
And there is still the question - the difficulty doesn't change?

Yah and unfortunately the blocks will crawl now because it looks like that hash power is now gone.  Everyone was hashing just long enough for the difficulty to shoot up hahaha.  I've seen a Scrypt altcoin get killed this way.  a multi-algo pool put a bunch of asics on it, difficulty went through the roof, then they left!  Not that I think it will or can happen here, but just always funny when I see that happen.

I've tested the published pools so far and it seems like suprnova will be the best.  It was the only one that adjusted the stratum difficulty.  With the other ones I was submitting like 500 shares in 30 seconds.  They are going to get killed.

OK, I am not going to direct hash-horses to the pool before the magic block Wink

hi... am kinda new so just wanted to clarify...
is there anyway to solo mine using custom miners like ccminer?

or you can only solo mine using multiple instances of the wallet miner, as per github?
if only through wallet miner, how do you tell the wallet miner to use GPU instead of CPU? or thats automatically done?

most of the posts seems to suggest only pool mining for GPUs....

thanks for clarifying!

Well I am all setup to mine this with my 16 GTX 1080Ti's !

Has anyone made an optimized ccminer for this yet?

Anyone worked out a rough ETA for when block 10080 will be reached?

When will this be listed on CMC and whattomine?
