How do you unlock this wallet??? I encrypted it, but don't see unlock anywhere? And what's the deal with the huge difference in circulating and total supply? I'm trying to find the answers but there's so much conflicting info.
You need to do it the old school way from the console. Click Help -> Debug Window Then choose the 'Console Tab' Type 'walletpassphrase WhatEveryYourPassPhrase 999999999 the 99999 = how long to remain unlock

Hello, accidentally found this project and I just read that it was possible to swap SIGT to this, can someone point me to the post that has information on how to do it? Thanks. I've got to say.....ending the swap process early is total bulls**t. I've been trying to get my sigt wallet synced for a couple days and have been having health issues, so haven't been able to jump right on the swap. I hop on today to do the swap, since there was suppose to still be another couple days......and voila. Screwed.
Edit: and to feed us the crap excuse that we shouldn't have waited until last few days....that's just bull crap. What the hell is the point in having a start and end day, if all your going to do is end it whenever you want and then say "shouldn't have waited"? I mean what's the cut off for your "shouldn't have waited" statement? If someone waited until there was only 7 days left, and you decided to end it at 8 days left would you be saying "shouldnt have waited"? And the whole thing about it being abused by non sigt holders.....well duh! You should have seen that coming a mile away. Of course people we're going to do that. It's been brought and mentioned since before the swap ever even took place. SMDH
Were you able to successfully sync your wallet?

Yes u can till the 7
Stop being a dick! Swap is over as announced on STRAKS discord. You clearly missed out and now bitter about your inability to make a no-brainer/simple decision over 28 days.

I can confirm that it's over, tried asking on the slack and no it's not swapable anymore. However some people (like me) just found out that a completely unrelated project offers the possibility so swap SIGT to it, so "You clearly missed out and now bitter about your inability to make a no-brainer/simple decision over 28 days." is unnecessary.

30 days
Swap was decided by devs Swap could have been cancelled by devs Swap can be shortened by devs Swap can be extended by devs STRAKS may not be paid by devs ... etc Do you get the picture? You and I have no say. As it should be. They made an offer, everyone who did not swap on day one away from SIGT are fools, and need to rethink their life choices.

They give 30 days then i can chose one day, the first or the last its the same, but for dev no. They give 30 days but if you dont swap on the first one you are an asshole... Great dev! If the coin spirit is as the dev idea of democracy, then this coin is dead at the beginning, because its dictatorship...
Are you employed? Technology space? Ever had specifications change at the last minute before delivery or cancelled? That's the reality of life. Better get used to it, happens all the time. Especially at blue chip companies.

Very interesting coin STRAKS i think this coin STRAKS has great prospects. Definitely will need to pass 1-2 months until swap, holders, mining speed and coin price come to normal. Until then i am moving to usual mining jobs. Thanks

STRAKS dev owes us nothing, absolutely nothing, so stop whining about it. It was only a goodwill gesture. They were not part of the SIGT dev that scammed us. They only offered us the chance to recoup our losses.
30 days were given to swap our SIGT for STRAKS. They decided to close it on day 28, two days earlier than expected, but what were folks doing all those 28 days? Heck, I only got to swap some of my SIGTs and I am grateful I had the chance to do so. The remaining coins are kept for other eventualities.
Yes, it sucks 2 days were shaved from the swapping period, but the moral of it all is you just can't leave things to the last minute.

You're assuming that every SIGT holder was aware that a swap was going on from day 1, you're completely mistaken. I thank the dev for their gesture even tho I think they got the chance to swap some of their bags and make good profits on top of that, this is not out of sheer altruism, anyway there is no need to discuss this further now, let's just move on.

It would be good for users if both mining GPU and CPU for the STRAKS coin would work. Could the devs please clarify if GPU mining will work? As it was stated that only cpu mining would work, but pools seems to find blocks?

I agree with everything @bitfreaky said. Some people never get satisfied or always have bad luck. There is a reason for that. Even if swap period was 1 year, they will still whine and get mad. To be it in perspective, for a tiny few who missed out (with a small margins) vs a tiny few where abusing the coulance offer to swap by buying cheap sigt to dump on us as a community as a whole (+30% of sigt supply in 4 days coming from exchanges while 27 days mostly from private wallets from sigt investors (~30%). The devs made a right decision. If you didn't swap <= 28 days or you were holding sigt and didn't knew about it, then you didn't care about your coins anyway, nor the community and project. But now you care about the project, team and community? I don't think so, you care about your wallet only and point fingers when Straks owes you absolutely nothing, while being overgenerous to gave you a month opportunity, which was announced all over the web (bitcointalk, reddit, discord, steemit, medium, youtube, etc.). As I said, I believe everything has a reason in life, maybe deal with that first, because it will happen again otherwise and this project has nothing to do with that, it's your fault, don't blame us, it would have happened anyway even when you could have swapped for an entire lifetime, something bad would have happened in your life that you still didn't do it. If you do care and missed out, then why don't you buy Straks from the exchanges? As for me, I'm holding up the buy wall, even during the coming swap, because this one will be an amazing project with marketplace, privacy features, etc. and the devs are way more talented than most other coins who got great market caps while not even having something to show for. The community is amazing as well (been on discord every day). Anyway, let's move on forward and keep 'em stacking

I noticed Straks in StocksExchange because it was in the top 5 of most actively traded coins. I decided to check this thread to see what's up with Straks. I was hesitant to touch this again because of the concern before of huge circulating supply when the swap with sigt holders is finished. Looks like Straks is doing well now in the market.

Did anyone tried using stocks.exchange? I've registered and I wanted to sell few Straks but I couldn't find deposit address anywhere. In FAQ I found question and the answer: How do I deposit crypto currencies? To deposit crypto currencies in profile choose crypto currency for deposit, click Deposit, and transfer crypto currency to the specified address. After a few confirmations the amount will be credited to your account. "Profile" word was hyperlink and redirected me to almost empty site, the same like button called "Manage" near "Wallets". I tried to disable ublock or change browser but still getting the same. Does anyone know how to use that strange exchange? Stocks.exchange is very buggy lately. In Exchange Section, you should have a WALLETS (Manage) link in the left side, at the top. Then you have to find STAK and generate an address. Good luck!
