Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Well that is a bummer ... HitBTC just lost reputation in my eyes.

For a price of 25 BTC this is a pretty pathetic performance... have they offered a partial return of funds to the straks team?

If listing date was defined they will probably compensate delay with some discount percentage, if date was not defined than I would not expect much more than "We are sorry for delay".

How many mh/s for a GTX1060? Thanks

It should be approximately 20-22mH/s for lyra2rev2 algorithm and this GPU.

Articles for bounty!?! Wtf! so it's a bribe for an false review ...

well, maybe your not familiarized but there are several and several bounty campaigns here on bitcointalk even for huge projects and ICOs.

Sometimes you have to pay for good article. And bounties are win-win for author and dev.
Nothing new, nothing strange.

Yes this type of article is common. You can usually tell if it is a bounty 'paid for' article if it has all the links to the coins webpage. You could also cross check the bounty spreadsheet if you see an article and want to check if it is from a bounty campaign.

Another obvious giveaway - it is 100 percent positive.

If you real believe in Straks, you can just wait for new exchanges, it doesn't matter of how many weeks we need to wait.

Yeah, selling now seems like a really bad deal, if the team is actively searching for new exchanges.

Check it here while Straks isn't on WhatToMine yet. For me it is currently a bit more profitable than others coins. Hovewer I'm mining not for current profit, but future profits, when Straks will reach HitBTC and devs will release new things for it that have been preparing for us for the last few weeks.

Too bad that we have to wait further on the hitbtc listing. Any other exchange that would like to list straks in the near future?

There is proposal about liisting Straks on NEXT.exchange. You just need to vote here: https://nextexchange.featureupvote.com/suggestions/4580/straks-stak

HitBTC fights against internal technical problems, it is a priority for them but they're in contact with Straks Team(first-hand information). We must be patient.

The best idea will be typing to devs via discord: https://discord.gg/dvAYN

For now, check yuor wallet via Straks client. Click: Help -> Wallet Repair -> "Rescan blockchain files"
