Why all the negative talk about bitcoin lately?

We all know that bitcoin is a new kind of virtual currency, and has just been popular recently due to its price, its value so high that make the governments worry about it and warn people on TV more and more by showing people bitcoin is not legal and scammers from everywhere trying to steel your money.

Really don't understand all the negatives flying around about BTC lately - we are on the cusp of mass adoption and that will change the space forever in a positive way.

- Bitcoin futures and soon Ether futures
- Bitcoin legislation to make <$600 transactions non-taxable in the US
- Increasing adoption globally even after China ban

You could add so many more positives to the above, so bitcoin won't be dying anytime soon !

I guess this is just your anxiety, or maybe you want to create a public opinion to decrease the value of bitcoin. I think if bitcoin has been attacked it is nothing new, and to this day bitcoin persists. this is great bitcoin.

The thing is because of these news bitcoin is just getting stronger and unstoppable.
Remember JP Morgan that says bitcoin is a fraud then the bitcoin price suddenly fall and he took that chance to buy in dip and when the price recover with an instant he is lying in bed of profit. These people are saying negative things to make s hype and to troll in the community and to have a good profit. But with all these news bitcoin proves that he is too big to defeat and nothing can bring him down.

You must be listening more to nonsense talks about Bitcoin as I have not seen many bad news about it at least after the cancellation of the SegWit2x. Anyway, we should understand that people have different ideas and opinions about Bitcoin and from the viewpoint of a marketer even a negative buzz about something can be better than no buzz at all. Remember that a bad publicity is still a good publicity because many people would then be interested to know more and once these people will find out the real score they can be enticed to join the cryptocurrency movement.

It's pretty normal to receive negative attacks on Bitcoin and it's not just "lately" but also on the past years of Bitcoin. Bitcoin touching new prices have gotten the attention of a lot of Investors and Financial Firms and let's also add the Central Bank, which they possibly see Bitcoin as a threat and Hindrance to their Business which is true but the community is still strong enough to support Bitcoin that the only solution of there Businesses is to use Bitcoin to Integrate to their Business.

Up until now, we see their effort to destroy the reputation of Bitcoin because they can't really control it, even after the birth of BCH which flooded the forum with a lot of spam posts saying that BCH is the real Bitcoin. You must be getting your news from a very different source. All I can see these days is nothing but clear blue skies from the media, both the online crypto ones and mainstream offline.

Okay, sure, we get the Dimonesque rant and the odd central bank weighing in but those are opinions, not otherwise noteworthy.

Well until recently bitcoin was not popular at all, so people didn't need to comment. When the price first started to rise, people tried to claim it was a fraud, which is simply not correct, obviously. Since those comments died down, recently people have started to attack from another angle: claiming that it's a bubble. I've been hearing the word bubble being thrown around a lot lately, so it's not surprising that people have started to criticize bitcoin once again.

These talks or comments are not new to any successful currency. Talks like these are there since from the introduction of bitcoin. No government or any central authority can establish control over bitcoins functioning. Its decentralised/independent  nature making it more and popular among investors and traders. Bicoin has created a better option for bank investors as well as for other currencies. Governments and banks are finding it difficult to keep control over their outgoing investments so they are trying to regulate/ban bitcoin by having reasons like terror funding, drug trafficking etc.

only because bitcoin has grown big and it is attracting a lot of attention. it is making a lot of people uneasy and afraid of their own future, such as banks for example. even services like payment processors such as Paypal would simply die if bitcoin grows real big. it is their death, that is why they have been attacking bitcoin left and right whenever they get the chance.

additionally there are others who are simply traders who want to short bitcoin, and buy in the dips and make more profit in short term, that is why they spread all these negativity about bitcoin specifically whenever there is a drop going on.
not so long ago it was a common thing to see random brand new accounts be created an spam non stop in speculation board, copy pasting the same script using keywords such as "bitcoin is Ponzi", "China banned bitcoin", "bitcoin is going to split",... and surely enough they all disappear when the dip was ended and rise began.
