okay I do not understand  my group 2 buy dividend.
Replied to the PM you sent on the subject

just curious with this calculation, especially GB1

Quote
Between the start of the first miners and yesterday afternoon we mined a total of 204.0262605 btc. This is divided amongst the GB's as follows:
GB1: 143.0184958 (0.000961/ addiction share) (0.096115 / GB share)

The costs for hosting up until all the miners were delivered were (16th of October):
GB1: -8.149405772 (-0.00005477 / addiction share) (-0.005476751 / GB share)

This totals to the following divs:
GB1: 0.000605 / addiction share (0.060483 / GB share)

143.0184958 (coins mined in GB) - 8.149405772 (hosting cost) = 134.869090028

that would bring a total of at least 0.0009 / addiction share in bitfunder

so why does in bitfunder, it shows up ฿0.00060483 / share instead? with a total  of   ฿75.90616500

tell me whats missing here. is it because part of it went to the direct shares?

PSU/Transport/Setup cost is not counted above, because it is brought forward to next 2 weeks, correct?
The sum is
0.000961(DIV) - 0.00005477 (Hosting cost) - 0.0003015(BTC/USD correction).

The btc/usd correction is standing above that text.

--
Side note: you may have been wondering why Eligius didn't show all the miners. That's because we've tried other pools as well as we said we would. We can now safely say that Eligius is running the best in terms of shares counted (less stales and duplicates). We now pointed the miners to Eligius.

Most are running 0.96 now, some are still on 0.95. Will run upgrades on those shortly as well since 0.96 seems to perform better as well.

Cheers

So we are hashing at 14TH?   Shocked Shocked Shocked
That means 14000000/148800 = 94,08 MH/ share ?
There was only 28.23MH promised!

Am I correct with this calculation?
according to Eligius, we are hashing at average of 14.5TH
current shares issues on bitfunder is 283,350
Im thinking 14,500,000 / 283,350 = 51MH/ share

Stop guessing Smiley

27 miners 12400 shares each = 334800 shares.

There is a few people having direct shares.

Utens, 2 reasons:

when dividends are payed, share price usually goes down with the same amount.
Second reason: rising difficulty means less expected return, so lowering of the share price

BETTER then this they forced us to sell or convert our shares.  This hurt all Stock prices on bitfunder it also allowed Non us buyers to buy stock really cheap.  I knew this was going to happen but KNC was slow in getting us the gear.  I had hoped to get my shares for buy 3 in later sept 28-30 then sell them before the cutoff date.  Since KNC delayed shipping I never had this chance. Neither did anyone owning group2 or group3 shares.  Such is life in the world of btc.

At least btc is going up in price.  It is over 175 usd at coinbase.

Are direct shares transfers open ?

hey guys, what do shareholders do if we wanna opt out of BF to direct shares?

(if this has been asked - i do apologise for asking again)
You can request transfers again. The procedure is outlined below:

1. Within Bitfunder, transfer the amount of shares you want as direct shares to useraccount ADDICTION
2. Send an email to p2poolnl@gmail.com with:
- your bitfunder userid
- the number of shares you want as direct shares
- the btc address on which the shares should be registered (this should be an address to which you own the private key and are able to sign messages with. If you can't sign with it you can never request a transfer again!)

We will post a list of transferred shares with btc addresses so you can check the status. Last public list:
http://pastebin.com/BmSGQV4p (Note this list does not yet include the direct shares from GB2 and GB3, these will be added shortly)

Public shares list for GB1 so far is:

For GB2 and GB3 about 1/3 of the ppl choose direct shares. They will be added to above list shortly.

hello,

I'm interested in buying some shares on bitfunder but I'm a bit confused about the group buys...

A share receives dividends from all the miners currently online? (I see about 14TH/s)

All the hashing profits are divided by how many shares in total? So how much hashrate a share represents?

Thank you
