Allright dividend time! Total mined btc this week: 182.3538877. The last difficulty raise caused us to mine only 30 btc in two days as opposed to ~27-28 per day the days before that. As said last week we'll deduct the remaining one-time costs this week and next week. This week we'll deduct ~2/3rd of the remaining 72.50701867. Thats 47.50701867 btc (leaving 25btc for next week). Hosting cost for last week are 10.16129032 btc. We pay hosting costs each week up-front so this amount will change each week as btc/eur price changes. That leaves for dividends: 124.6855787. Since all shares have been destributed we will not use the old GB shares anymore but only the bitfunder ones (in numbers). In bitfunder terms there are 27*12400 = 334800 shares. Currently there are 69572 direct shares and 265228 shares on bitfunder. Dividend per share = 0.00037241 btc. Dividends will be payed in the coming few minutes. Update about the miners condition? everything is going ok?
So far no complaints on our side. As you can see on Eligius the miners are running stable. We've updated three miners to 0.97 a few days ago because they ran <500GH. One miner has now been ~520 for a few days, the other two are still below 500. A new firmware is expected tomorrow ( https://www.kncminer.com/news/news-59). We'll be testing that on a few miners first before upgrading all of them. A word on pools then, we've tested p2pool and btcguild in the first ~week after receiving the miners. Both did not give any hopeful results (we use both as backup pools atm). We plan to point a few miners at other pools to see if there is any notable difference. So far it seems that Eligius is by far the best pool around (no fees, tx fees distributed to miners and some nice lucky streaks as well). Eligius is also one of the few pools that offers nice public stats which we find very important transparency wise. |

I'm an American and have shares in the group buy #1.
If I read the posting correctly if I just wait all of my group buy 1 shares on BitFunder will revert to direct shares at the end of November?
Seems like easiest thing to do instead of creating yet another account.
Is that correct?

The Bitfunder instructions are not clear. Well, not clear for me.
Important Notice (October 8th, 2013):
Please be advised that BitFunder is implementing the following rules and procedures:
As of October 8th, 2013, BitFunder will not accept new registrations from any United States persons or entities. All new registrants must supply the information required to obtain "Verified" status on their linked WeExchange account. BitFunder may, in its sole direction, decline to accept any new registrations.
As of October 8th, 2013, all current BitFunder users who are located in the United States or are determined to be United States persons or entities will not be able to enter into any new positions on the Bitfunder website, and, as of November 1, 2013, such users will also not be allowed to sell positions on the BitFunder website.
All current BitFunder users who are not United States persons or entities must supply the information required to obtain "Verified" status on their linked WeExchange account before November 1, 2013. Any such users who fail to provide the necessary information will not be able to enter into or sell positions on the BitFunder website as of November 1, 2013.
Users will be able to withdraw holdings and Bitcoins from their BitFunder accounts before and after November 1, 2013.
All assets and issuers must demonstrate that they meet BitFunder's requirements for the listing of assets, or the assets and issuers will, at BitFunder's sole discretion, be denied access to, or removed from, the site. WeExchange is working for me here. You need to get verified in WeExchange, click the status "Unverified" to submit your scanned IDs. |

WeExchange is working for me here. You need to get verified in WeExchange, click the status "Unverified" to submit your scanned IDs. I'm trying to make sure I'm verified, but I can't log in. It just refresh's the page when I try to login. Any Advice? |
