What should I do If My wallet or BTC gets hacked?
Thats the wrong question to ask. Once your wallet or your BTC get "hacked" its already too late. The question you should ask yourself (or us) is how you can avoid your wallet getting hacked (Wallets can be "hacked", BTC itself not). The key to this is to use the right wallet. First, if you have lot of btc's you should spend <100$ for a hardware wallet. With such a HW wallet your coins will stay safe, even if your PC is infected with malware. A HW wallet is pretty handy in everydays usage. If you only want to keep your coins without spending them in the next few years and are too greedy for a <100$ HW wallet, you could use a paper wallet. A paper wallet is basically just a private-/public keypair generated and printed completely offline in several copies, saved in different places. Once you want to spend your coins you can easily just import the private key into a wallet of your choice (Your PC will have to be free of malware for this not leading to a loss of your funds).

I would say not really at all. No one's going to know that you individually will have a lot of coins in your wallet. Like people have said on this topic, only way to get your coins is to have your private key. I would be more afraid of phishing scams/emails rather than hacks.
You're going to be fine.

Since you have a big investment in bitcoin, you are one of the people endangered in the eye of hackers. Your risk from hackers is highly potential, but you have nothing to worry about; since bitcoin provides all day or 24/7 security to secured your account free from hackers and the government support it by a criminal law that they will do immediate action once it happen. It’s the obligation of the company and the management, as well as the government to secure our investment and entire world free from scammers. It’s also your duty to be carefully enough in every action you made. You should always think smart and wisely once you give your personal information so that you account/investment if free from any bad people.

I am hearing a lot of users' complaint about having a problem transferring their BTC, Nowadays I am not selling it because I am "Hodling" it for future. But I am a bit of scared now because all this news about the people's BTC being hacked.
What should I do If My wallet or BTC gets hacked?
Yes, you should be scared on them. When people sees your potential in earning hackers make moves on trying to snatch your money. In order for that you have to be as wise as them. Change your password with numbers, letters and symbols. Make sure that all your account is in private which only you can see it.

If your wallet is hacked, then you will not do anything unfortunately. But you can protect your wallet. For better protection, you should be a bit paranoid: do not connect to unverified networks, maintain the correct password policy, etc.

if you have a lot of btc, you should buy a hardware wallet. I think it is affordable since you are rich with that btc. Another suggestion maybe you need to have more than two or three desktop wallet.

You have to beware of hackers all the time, your Bitcoin wallet will be cut off from the Internet, out of touch with the Internet, and it will be safe to hide your private keys.

You should store your BTC on cold and hardware wallets. That's the best way to protect your funds if you care of it so much. And don't use web wallets for big amounts of BTC.

If you are earning bitcoins from various methods like signature campaigns or trading activities or Gambling, never use the same wallet address in all places. Never let your earnings move into only a single place and never keep all bitcoins in a single wallet. Always diversify. Use a mix of hardware wallet, Offline or online wallets, cold storage wallet to hodl your bitcoins.

good suggestion, saving bitcoins in separate wallet. i will suggest to using Ledger and Trezor, this is both hardware wallet, means it will not connect online always, but yes you need connect internet when will using it. But so far using hardware wallet in safe computer would be good option for me.

[/quote] Yes, you can do one thing NEVER reveal your main wallet address to anyone in the public and never use it for any other purpose. Always use a licensed version of operating system and Internet Security like Kaspersky or something better. Keep both up to date.

I think yes you should be scared of hackers if you have a lot of BTC because why are hackers going to hack someone with 1 btc instead of someone with 1000 btc that seems sensible enough for me that they will hack the one with 1000 btc.

Hackers will target anyone with low security measures in place thats why we need to make it a habit not to feel lazy to enable secondary security feature like 2fa and avoiding using open networks which might expose us to hackers and dishing out of email addresses linked to our crypto wallets should come to a stop if we want to protect ourselves from hackers.
