Ethereum at $1000 in Jan 2018?

I've been following this coin and Bitcoin because they are both on the top list. I am reading them about their features. Both coins rapidly increase on its value, so I think it is very likely that it will reach $1,000 by next year.

If we look at the current market value of bitcoin, then we’ll notice this thing that it is far away from that of 1000$. The thing is there is a possibility of this thing to happen but it is not at all possible in the start of coming year. There is not much time left in the coming year to come. In fact, only one month is left and there is no way that ETH will reach up to 1000$ by then. It can of course increase but not that much.

There is great potential in Ether now, whatever decision you make, make it soon, because Ethereum will be too expensive to buy, just like Bitcoin.

YEAH... it might happen in next year that ETHEREUM will reach 1000USD. It has a grest market potential and comes second in top crypto currencies. Just like BITCOINS it will soon reach at peak and everyone knows that it has a good future ahead. So just don't waste time and grab some ETH because in future it will be very costly as Bitcoins. Its demand in market will increase and that will rise the cost of ETH .

Do not expect too much in Ethereum just because its price increased recently. I do not think Ethereum can touch $1,000 by January 2018. Ethereum may only reach $500 by that time. $1,000 is too large. You should analyze how the price of Ethereum moves to realize that the price of Ethereum reaching $1,000 by January 2018 is impossible.

I believe that in such a short period of time the price will not rise so high. In January 2018, I expect to see only $ 700 per coin, but I still invest in it because it will be very profitable.

Not likely to hit 1k, the interest level is not high enough yet. Just look at Google trends of what people are searching for and when you compare BTC to ETH, the interest level still isn't exponential enough to warrant that huge a spike:

Yes, that's why it is called "petroleum". I also think that its price will increase, but not that much we had within 2017.

it's quite likely that Ethereum will indeed perform that well. It might be wishful thinking but there are definitely good chances of something like this happening. Bitcoin has all the attention right now and everyone will be looking to invest in it within December, once the future are available from CME group. At some point though in 2018 investors will be looking for alternatives and other coins that offer descent returns. BTC will be strong but it obviously can make the same returns it has been making for years now. The next possible candidate to be integrated in traditional investment instruments is obviously ETH. It's one of the best candidates and when that happens we'll be seeing the price going to mars and probably coming back at some point as well.

Maybe he/she hasn't moved on with the price of bitcoin that why. But regardless of the both bitcoin and ethereum are expected to reach their expected mark value by the end of the year. although ethereum still has a month left for it to reach its mark value, unlike bitcoin which has a rapid rate growth.

I'm just hyped with bitcoin that I forgot that the thread was talking about ethereum. But with honestly I think that base on the current trend of ethereum it not possible to hit $1000 by january 2018, it'll take some time for it to reach that mark. What I expect is what by Janunary 2018, the price value of ethereum will be around $550 by that time.

I do a lot of watching ethereum, I do a little but I think it's to sell eth.

I think no growth now will be gone. This is not visible hit the barrier 490, and can't go. Not been growing. So it will be either sideways or pullback.
And the end of December beginning of January the quietest month of the year. Therefore, it is unlikely to be the pump right up to the 1000.. in January

it was predicted for Eth to go upto $1200 till Dec 2017 but it got slow, just picked pace in last weeks lets hope for $1k
