Only time can tell,but you can already see the answer on eth current price this day if it can reach that 1000$ by january, eth as of now is going up ,nextweek another chapter on eth price will happen maybe between 800$ to 900$.

ethereum currency has very high potential.It is obviously a very realistic amount. Although, there has been so many ups and downs and finding it hard to break resistance, so for now, I would not want to keep my hopes too high as even the current value can just drop any time. But no one really knows as there are lots of surprises in the crypto world, so I guess we just have to see. End of 2018 is still a long time from now and I do not expect ETH to be the same by then, so $1000 can still be possible..but it also depends upon the interest of investers. |

Looking at todays crazy rise of total capitalization of the crypto market I could predict this is more than probable to see the ETH price about $1000 in the end of Jan 2018! As the greater part of this market are tokens based on Eth blockchain the prise of ETH will go higher with the market or even more.
So patience and happy New Year to all crypto lovers!

According to my analyzation, ETH is the second best coin after bitcoin and I am sure in 2018 Ethereum will go more than 2000$. And yes in January it will hit 1000$ for sure...

So how it could be that BTC is faster? |

The price of Ethereum in low extent depend on the demand of this currency. More influence make by prices of other coins and their correlation. Most of the time when BTC is grow, the alts are falling. |

This is really possible to happen in the next year for ethereum because as we can see that as the price of bitcoin goes up high then the price of the other cryptocurrencies are moving up also because of the appreciation in bitcoin which they are all basing on the numbers or mode in bitcoin so they are also going up as the bitcoin goes up. So if bitcoin reaches at least $50000 then it is really possible for ethereum to reach $1000.

Now Ethereum is in the top 10 best cions in the world. It is a successful coin. It seems to be possible to reach $1000 in January 2018. Nothing is impossible in altcoin. I believe ethereum can reach $1000 in January 2018.

I think it took a long time for ethereum to reach that value. But if you want to invest in ethereum you should do it now. Because slowly ethereum its value will increase and its potential is better. |

Well, I actually believed it would reach more than $1000 in 2018, since it almost reaches $1000 this year I think it would even breakthrough greater heights and the end of 2018. Eth is gradually gaining momentum and has shown a steady pace in terms of growth in the market which makes it a good factor as an investment. |

the blind hysterical hype train is indeed pretty strong this month, ripple did x5, stellar x12, monero x7, dash x6, ETH x2.5. even though there is no valid reason for it, i think it's safe to "expect" ETH to rise above 1k. what is less safe is to invest in it at this price, when you could wait for it to go down below 500$ after some potential heavy correction and buy twice the amount. we would still need a few Billion$ to poor into the market, as going from 750 to 1k means goind from 75B$ market cap to 96B$ marketcap. either way my bet is indeed we "can" see 1k. not sure if we could. i'll wait for next month maybe wait a few month for prices to drop significantly. i'm a bit tired of this endless rise  |
