There is absolutely nothing wrong with long term investing in altcoins, the determining factor however is the quality of the alt coins you chose to invest in, it doesn't matter how much you invest if the quality of the coin is low, it just will not grow and add value no matter how long you hold it, and if it does, the difference will be so little. Invest in a quality coin and hold it for a long period of time and it will probably get you rich

If you can choose the best coins with promising and potential prospects, the long time you use will produce satisfying results for you personally. However, as well as vice versa, the long time you use will only be in vain and can backfire for your investment decline, if you cannot choose the right coin.

How if I say it will depend on each altcoin? of course this is a very standard answer. but, It means deeply. Every coin has different progress, value, and also concept. Some coins are perfect for holding. But some are good for trading or short investment. So, what we need to do is understanding what kind of coins. I myself ever hold the coins around 2 years.

Of course it is but only if you believe in the project, in the team and if you see good signals (communications, the way to manage the community, updates and so on). If you don't believe in it you'll only be very anxious

Yes, it's a good idea, but not on every altcoin, and the value of the coinand increase in growth  price determine either to invest on for long time or not

Investing long term on altcoin is a good idea but at the investor risk, because no one can predict the future of altcoin... So we should make research on any altcoin before investing

Investments for the long term have always been the most effective compared to the short-term

Of course investing in Altcoins can bring a lot of money, but that also requires luck. Now the market is very poor for luck, I think that he now needs him very much. As soon as we see the rise in prices for bitcoin, another portion of euphoria will begin

You need to buy Altcoins anyway! But not with brute force, study the coin well before buying it.  Wink

Most altcoins have a small capitalization, so the price can grow strongly in a short period of time. But you have to be smart with the choice of coins for investment!

Based on the understanding and knowledge of following up with the cryptocurrency for the past 6 month, my inference is that the cryptocurrency is highlt volatile.

Is it a good approach to stay invested for long term in the altcoin space?
It is only a good approach for an altcoin that has a solid foundation and have a solid development in their project. Majority of it are not worth to hold in a long term goal. Better do your own research or at least pick top altcoin in coinmarketcap to avoid regret in the future.

I think altcoins are suited for both long term investments and day trading, the later is more profitable because there is a big variety of them at the moment and each of them fluctuate at their own pace, on the other hand, long term investment is like the safest bet you can take.

You must thoroughly analyze an altcoin before you buy it. when you find an altcoin that interests you, go deep. Study how it’s being used. Talk to people who use it. Talk with the development team. Look at its adoption rate, its potential market size, its price history. These things will give you confidence in your winners and lose.

Whether it is Bitcoin or altcoin, it will be a good investment if you know how to explore and learn. For example, with Bitcoin, you need to be a good news analyst or technical analyst, or with altcoin to evaluate whether the project should invest or not.

Perhaps what needs to be clarified is whether the points you want to convey whether altcoin or long-term investment. Because in my opinion, each altcoin will have different growth potential, although the trend may be the same. But if your orientation is a long-term investment, then with good altcoin diversification and the appropriate capital, I think you'll be fine.

On the off chance that you explore well about your coins then you will have certainty too so you can hold up enough till you get what you anticipate. In the event that you don't have faith in your coins enough then when costs are for the most part low you will frenzy and give wrong choices.

I believe that Investing for the long haul in an altcoin is smart thought, yet you should obviously know on which altcoin you are aiming to put resources into you need to complete a pursuit on that on the grounds that not all alts are a long haul speculation. just few of them may make it
