I love CGB and the enthusiasm that surrounds it but lets get real here -- the "likes" are being purchased.

you could say that but more and more people are getting to know about it and the work is spreading. That's sorta the point, whether the likes are bough or not

Typical advertising, no? TV Commercials are paid ways to promote a product as well. Paid for or not, people are hearing about CGB and cryptocurrencies in general. This is good for all IMO.

Isn't that what advertising is all about, grabbing peoples attention. Advertising costs money, and the 'likes' show it is working. Money well spent IMO.

That depends on if the likes are fake users or not. If it's just being liked by bots with no real friends, nobody sees it, and it's just money down the drain.

Google crawler bots, clicking on their own advertising links to make themselves millions of £$£$£$, OHH the conspiracy. You do have a valid point though.

It looks like some serious investors are getting involved in CB. It is not easy to pick up a large volume without pushing up the price. I have noticed that the price gets pushed up as investors load up and then the buying slows for a bit for new sell orders to leak into the spread between buy and sell - then the process repeats. I have also noticed that the buyers are not screaming "pump" in the chat box, they are trying to buy without being noticed.

Yea, quiet is good for CB, it induces a solid, slow and steady growth. Also helps to weed out the weaker holders, as they get impatient and drop their holdings into our hungry wallets  Smiley

Guys,

Please forgive me for not working on vanity address and forum.  I want to concentrate all my resources on our major projects we have scheduled for release in the next two months.  I'd like to get them released and then work on the forum/vanity address generator afterwards, to support the resulting interest from the new project releases.  The quicker I can get these projects released then the quicker we justify the price rise, which is important to me.

Do not worry  Smiley The vanity address gen. is not that important atm anyway. And this forum is good for now.

Merc, you just do what you think is best. Like I said before there is no rush, and there is no pressure on yourself from the CB community I'm sure. These things were just ideas and can wait if there are more important tasks to be dealt with beforehand.
There has been so much done in the short few weeks since CB was released, and we, as investors, couldn't wish for a better Development team.

Good things come to those who wait, and I think everyone who has been following CB from the start will agree.

I'm sure you have prioritised the projects. Naturally, you need more people with programming talent, because there is too much to do. I would suggest a specialist forum is the best way to go for that. When there is a Coin Forum, it somehow serves as a much better organiser and motivator than BTCtalk...that is to say, you will find people willing to take on responsibilty, moderation and organisation. That is why I would humbly suggest Forum as a priority.

You make a good point.  But there's more to my decision to holding off on a forum for now.  And that's because it requires considerable time and effort to monitor forum activity so to maintain a high level of professionalism.  Thus, we're first going to make sure we have gathered trustworthy supporters with the right time availability to moderate the forum.  Only then will I feel comfortable with announcing an official CB forum.  In the meantime, I appreciate your patience and understanding.

Yes , I see... On reflection you are 100% correct. Forum does require high calibre and trustworthy supporters: Having the wrong people can give problems we don't need right now.

You get my +1 for competence !

Thanks.  Smiley

I've also been spending much time with my attorneys to assure we cover all legal angles regarding future projects, and unfortunately, this makes it difficult to stay in front of a computer all day.  But our resources and assets must be protected.  You'd be surprised what the threat of a good attorney and a subpoena can accomplish.  But that's another conversation for another day...  Wink
