This is cool! It will still take some time for this piece to really sink in I think. I am working on a really cool fundamental knowledge infographic (similar to the last CryptoTown image. Hopefully I will be able to release the details shortly along with this week's update!

good work Cat. On exchanges I would advise staying clear of any that have had any 'hacked' problems. Also judge the book by the cover (in most cases). CGB should aim to be a professional crypto, if it is traded on a less professional exchange any problems boomer-rang. CGB should be traded on 1-2 majors and then listed with private or OTC dealers. Avoid the middle. I agree, this sounds reasonable. Diversity is important, but we need to stand behind solid exchanges only. The CryptoTown project will help us to focus on the private dealers and local exchanges. papersheepdog, Canada

Hi guys. I agree with both that we only should be listed on the best exchanges. Volume does not always give the answer if it's good or not, some exchanges are just launched and they may gain a % of the market, it's not easy to see which ones are going to succeed. But at early stage it may be the easiest to get listed since there is much competition from new coins, key is to recognize which ones are going to do well and have good ethics. The list above is nothing more then a list of options we can discuss. Best voting positions we have on swisscex, askcoin and coinano. If you have recommendation for a new exchange to put on the list or remove it just PM me. (coinader removed from original) Another topic. I hope CGB can continue to develop technically as well. We should definately keep an eye on features that other coins implement such as Cloak decentralized exchange/marketplace. This is a groundbreaking feature. I'm no cointech so cannot oversee if such thing can be possible for CGB it's one example. Also the Cloakteam seems to have found a bug in the POS system that many coins use although they haven't released it yet, it could also be tricky marketing to attract investors away from other coins but I'm not the one to judge, keep an eye on it though! The rise in price of CGB today is good even though it's low volume but with the 0.01 miningsubsidy there won't be much resistance from newly mined coins. Cryptsy now has the Maker/Taker promotion where you don't pay tradingfee's if you are the maker. CGB could use some more support on the buyside so perhaps it's a good way to benefit from this: http://blog.cryptsy.com/post/91616911732/new-maker-taker-trading Best regards, BTCat / YoRally

Good news teaser... We have come to an agreement with another developer who shares our values and goals and they have agreed to join the CGB Core Team! This really is an exceptional, mutual fit. So expect the development train to resume and once Tash is back in commission... Look out! Let's just say all pieces are falling into place Formal announcement to come soon...

CGB Core Team Weekly Update - July 18, 2014Please also see the Reddit post for further discussion.Greetings to all! This is going to be a little different than our usual updates. As we have previously conveyed, these updates contain anything that we feel is important to the success of CGB, in addition to Core Team developments. You may also expect them to be slightly more brief, and possibly more interactive. To begin, we are ecstatic to welcome Raizor to the Core Team as a software developer. Since he offered his talents via Reddit, our team has been uplifted by his contributions. He was personally responsible for fixing the bug which brought our Comkort market offline, and has continued become familiar with, and improve the CGB wallet client software. We have been discussing many potential client features, a development workshop has been created to encourage community participation. Some of our previous efforts continue to bring reward with some additional publicity related to the release of the July issue of the CryptoBiz Magazine. We have also been very active with the creation of Development Workshops for both CGB and the CryptoTown project. They are a persistent (linked on the website or sidebar) discussion intended to capture and develop ideas. Consider dropping a quick mention of your best idea on any of the following recently established workshops: The following is the introductory paragraph to the Consultancy Culture and the Universal Perspective workshop. It's designed to be made into an infographic, with condensed points. The other three paragraphs provide some fundamental justification for the adoption of cryptocurrency and the CryptoTown project. The universal perspective. ■ In pursuit of fundamentally objective discussion. ■ With a focus on transcendent thought. ■ The right question is more important than the right answer. ■ Always account for natural forces. ie. Reality. ■ Nothing can be truly classified, everything is unique. ■ Identify the variables, discuss effects of their potential values. ■ Monocultures and other extremes tend to be unstable. ■ Favor swings like a pendulum over time between perceived dualities. Discussion is appreciated! The CGB Core Team

Forgot to mention this so I'll just post it here! CGB Reaches PoW Baseline Target (after 1 year)! Low 2%/yr monetary base expansion now locked in.Please also see the Reddit post for further discussion.CGB has recently hit its baseline inflation target, completing its ~1 Year PoW mining schedule! - Approximately 15 CGB are mined per day!
- Currently about 955K CGB exist!
- Every year we add 5500 CGB (PoW) and an additional maximum of 15000 CGB (PoS).
We would like to add and organize more of the above, as well as collect a list of all coins that have reached their baseline goal! I will start with the only ones that I recall at the moment. - Quark (6MO)
- BlackCoin (1WK)
Please add to the list!

Please add to the list! Are you looking for alts that do not have a PoW phase any more? The newer generation PoW / PoS hybrids generally have a very short PoW state and then jump to PoS only with a high interest rate. Please see Mintcoin for instance; https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=450381.0Check various multipool site stats for altcoins which are supported but not mineable anymore. This could perhaps give many suggestions of PoW / PoS hybrids that are now PoS only. I cannot check more right now, but I'm sure that there must have been a couple dozen alts with an "instamining phase" PoW of hours - days -weeks that are now PoS only. Such alts may have a official multipool mining other altcoins and reinvesting the profits to support there coin on the crypto markets.

All valid factors. Sometimes we have a PoW stage which spreads coin through mining, and then to a PoS schedule which rewards early holders. I would say it could be useful to have two lists: One list where the PoW expansion phase has reached its long term rate, and another where we narrow it down to PoS schedule having also been completed (or was static like CGB). papersheepdog, Canada
