I don't see reasons to hurry on deposit time.
Longer confirmations required, higher security we can have. Of course, sometime it's not comfortable to wait for too long.
Sometime, it doesn't matter at all, because what you have to do is send your coins, turn off your computer, and come back hours later.

Sometime? 200 confirmations x 120 seconds/block = 24000 seconds = 400 minutes = 6.66 hours
