Since the total number of bitcoin is fixed, so the value of bitcoin will keep grow, and it's price will keep grow also. So will there a price cap for bitcoin?
I hope it does. But there are factors to consider first before it rises in price like the supply and demand of bitcoins or if the supply does stop fron coming in, then the price will rise until a certain price point where people would start to not buy bitcoins anymore and start selling them. |

I hope it does. But there are factors to consider first before it rises in price like the supply and demand of bitcoins or if the supply does stop fron coming in, then the price will rise until a certain price point where people would start to not buy bitcoins anymore and start selling them. As summer209 have mentioned, the number of bitcoin is fixed. At this stage, bitcoin is only a experiment. Its usage is unknown yet. So it is very possible the price will rise much higher in the future. |

As long as the demands of bitcoin is increasing the price will still increase and investors of bitcoin are still increasing and that's why bitcoin's price became as enormous as it is right now.

Nothing is going to increase forever. But I would say that the current rally in the exchange rates is going to last another 2-3 months. Because the interest in the crypto-currency is increasing and the user base is still growing at a constant and steady pace.

The time will come that the era of bitcoins will come to an end. They are just successful like this because they are new for the people they are a new technology but when they become common and they have been replaces by another new investions trust me they will come to a downfall very hard. If people will stop buying their products their value will slowly going to fall and until such time we will not noticed that they will be a history in this world and they will not be existing anymore. But for now lest just take advantage that we can get some money from them today. |

That is happening right now. I am not sure how long the current rally will last. But from a long term perspective, bitcoin is surely going upwards. |

Bitcoin price is volatile. But it would continue increasing as long the the demand increase also. In the same way also in the market, the more consumers the more supply and price increases.

The one major question mark is what happens if Washington says, any bank in the world transacting with bitcoin exchanges will be subject to penalties (FATCA style). That's the only reason why I continue to hold bitcoins but also regularly take out profits and change them to traditional currency. Skimming the cream off the top so to speak.

The increase of bitcoin price won't take forever. Bitcoin is decentralized so it is not guaranteed that it will take forever, as you can see there are times that the price of bitcoin becomes low. As of now the price of bitcoin has it's quick price hike because of it's high demand. Many people are now entering the crypto world because of its benefits and this is unstoppable. Many would think that bitcoin will increase forever because every minute bitcoin changes its value and it said that the number of bitcoin is fixed. High demand will aspire for limited bitcoin that is why the price of bitcoin goes higher and higher.

There comes a time when bitcoin prices will stabilize and that's when the issue of legality and bitcoin acceptance on the world market has been done. You think normal currency bitcoins have a fixed value only at the moment many corrections occur and you think the bitcoin value will become fixed.
Of course yes the reason why is because the growing community of bitcoin user, also because there's a lot of people nowaday is interested to bitcoin and because of low supply but the demand is higher. |

Maybe, its hard to predict wether the price of bitcoin will increase forever. Rightnow its price is still increasing and lets hope and pray that this increasing price will continue, because it will bring us more money and it will make us rich.

I do not think so. Because bitcoin is just beginning to be worth it, it's not stable. The value of bitcoin is rising quite high but I am afraid that at some point its value will decrease. But not so it reduces forever it will rise again.
