it should be, try both 8340 and 8348
Wont connect, tried 8340 and 8348. I'll try without the solo pool in my startup. Give me a sec, the workers are in another part of the building. |

OK. Startup with only your server in it.
Shows "pool 0 slow/down, check URL or creditials invalid".
Tried with both 8340 and 8348.
Now, this is the same startup that I was just using successfully before. When it did not work, I then removed the first pool (my solo mining) and tried it with only your server in it.
Rechecked website to verify correct user/worker names and passwords, all checked good.

Redcoin needs a chat box or an irc channel on the redcoin.pw server to help work through probs like this. Plus it would give an area for miners to chat about redcoin.

on my main site theres an irc box for all users, its got all the channels im usually in aswell.

Re-registered on pool and cgminer looks like it connected on port 8348...
So pool is up and everything ok now?

Thats what I was getting earlier. It is cleared now using port 8348. I put all three workers on it to help test. Come on in. LOL |

Thats what I was getting earlier. It is cleared now using port 8348. I put all three workers on it to help test. Come on in. LOL I am still getting this, port is 8348 I dont know what miner client you are using, but with cgminer I had the problem and once the server was reset I had to close out the cgminer session and start a new one to clear the error. |

then the way you are going its the best to have a coin killed by monster who like me own over 20mh....dont stop that day is coming
I'm also thinking about killing this one, or at least just the stupid ass pool Please dont kill the coin.  Solomining is working fine We have more pools and stuff in development I'm not, I like the coin. That pool op is a fuckin idiot though |

right guys i have an update on the pool, its closed for now until an issue is fixed. The real cause of the problem after a lot of debugging and discussion is stratum. dude 71's shares were counted for other blocks incorrectly. So i would like everyone who mined during that period to send me a pm or visit me on my irc channel #crypto-expert providing me with your usernae and redcoin address for some compensation. Hopefully this issue should be fixed soon. I might have the pool back up tonight but running pushpool rather than stratum
