Eyond the difficulties presented by the decentralization of bitcoin itself, governments and regulatory bodies have shown they lack understanding of technological topics, and bitcoin is one of the most complex. As governments struggle to ban technologies like Tor and encryption, it seems impossible to imagine them gaining the ability to truly impact bitcoin – and its alt-coin contemporaries – in a way that could impede its progress.

The government could have banned the use of bitcoin, but the government could not stop the flow of bitcoin, which is a virtual currency that USES the Internet to circulate.

We can not control what the government should do because of putting law into place we can not do but hopefully before the government banned the bitcoin they would think it would be a lot to cooperate or if they would like to make a tax for such a

The answer is absolutely yes. Because in some countries, the goverment hasnt accepted Bitcoin yet until now because they think Bitcoin is illegal virtual money which could be used by crime to make some illegal crimes such as buying and selling dug, gambling, etc

Goverments can ban BTC for their own interest. BTC prohibition of China government is the most common topic nowadays. These situations are based on the relationship of interest.

No, it's impossible to ban Bitcoin because it is universal and everywhere . It is decentralized and owned by no one. The only thing can ban Bitcoin is the absence of internet.

It is possible, Having that said "ABSENCE OF INTERNET". Didn't you know that the Government or a Government can manipulate everything in their country? The Internet is a utility in which a Government can advise the provider to limit access or to prohibits its citizens from using it. Also, Let say that the government didn't shut the internet down though they can still block any websites that are connected or related to cryptocurrencies.

Bitcoin has been around the borders of financial markets for less than a decade, but is slowly gaining importance as an alternative asset class.
Can the government of any major country step in and do the unlikely?
I always hear this but you have a point goverments can banned this but i think goverments should need to accept this crypto because this crypto helps a lot to al people to improve their economy and theres more but if govwrments banned this we should need to accept this.

Whether a government will ban or not bitcoin is accordingly to their own discretion. Some countries believe in the benefits of bitcoin but other does not want to take the risk of its anonimity.

About this question about governments banning bitcoins my answer would be yes governments can and have the power and authority to ban bitcoins, this is already a fact on several countries like china and some middle eastern nations who banned bitcoins in their country due to the fact that they cant tax it. Most nations prefer trades which they can place tax or tariffs on the goods or trades because tax generates income for the government and its understandable. So its not a question for now on why do government ban bitcoins buy why and when will they ban it. Some bitcoin enthusiasts Predicts that even if some governments ban bitcoin for now they might re-open to it once they are able to have enough control over any traded cryptocurrency in their country.

Each country has its own legal sense of bitcoin or criptocurrensy.
Some classify bitcoin as money and legal, and some are considered bitcoins as both legal and illegal assets.
After I sought the knowledge of bitcoin, it turns out that United States is the most user in the world, payment using virtual money is considered normal and legal.

hopefully all governments in the world agree with the existence of bitcoin.

Bitcoin is decentralized and cannot be control by anyone neither government can control it. Its a freedom source and free for all. Since government can't control it so there's no way to ban it. They can ban only the use of ICO but hard to ban bitcoin or maybe it highly possible they can ban bitcoin exchanging sites within their country only.

Ban is not just blocking exchanging sites and other stuff you said, man. Every government can't start prison people who using bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies and that's lame.
