Will CGminer run both cards at the same time? or should I use GUIminer?

Cgminer should run both cards. You should only have to put one set of arguments for your overclock for them since they are the same.

ok. That brings me to my next question, how would I go about OC'ing, MSI AB? or catalyst?

fire up cgminer and make sure they are both working first... then you can overclock straight from cgminer.. this is how I run my 5850 and 6850 with cgminer, note that I don't care about noise

--intensity 19 --gpu-engine 850 --gpu-fan 100 --thread-concurrency 7200 --shaders 2880 --worksize 256 --api-listen --api-allow W:127.0.0.1

Thats assuming he is wanting to mine LTC.

I don't follow.  I use those same settings for mining Bitcoin, too... LTC Scrypt is just more profitable right now.

I suppose with those settings its no harm no foul for BTC, but adjusting things like thread concurrency doesnt really yield any results in BTC mining, but doesnt hurt either.

Squiggly letters, written really fast, with a couple of dots for good measure.

Ahhh... I didn't know that.  I rarely mine BTC, since I can yield more BTC equivalent of alt-coins (LTC, FTC, and CAP at the moment)

But that is good to know.  Thanks for the info Smiley

I currently mine on the guild. Any better merged mining pools?

And how would I go about clocking my 6870s to ensure longevity. I see on the comparison page that 2x 6870s at 945 clock, 330 under the SP tab. I take it SP is the memory clock?

Please correct me if im wrong. If not, how would I go about achieving optimum performance without wasting cards quicker than most.
