I think it's likely that altcoin will not last long, let alone high bitcoin prices and more and more are using bitcoin as a transaction, so it's likely to be slid by bitcoin, and altcoin is likely to start off by many people.

Not all alts will survive, but the best ones definitely will - and they'll thrive in this new cryptocurrency craze that has been taking most of our society by storm. We have the chance to be early adopters for most, luckily Smiley

Some altcoin still exist until now, let's take a look on LTC,doge, Monero ,etc
Of course it's difficult to find the good one so make sure that you've prepare the worse if you decide to invest on altcoin

I think if things remain like this, because the price of the bitcoin soar. then there will be some altcoin that was forced to not survive. but if the bitcoin goes back down, the altcoin will survive

Many altcoins will get crushed and will cease to exist. But there are also many altcoins that will stand and become even mainstream. In years to come one of these altcoins will replace bitcoin.

Will Altcoins survive as bitcoin is going higher and higher and the demand is getting increasing every day, what will happens to altcoins

Indeed, that Altcoin could most likely survive as Bitcoin can't solve most of the world problem with its blockchain. However, Altcoin offers such solutions, like Ethereum smart contract does something that Bitcoin couldn't do

Well, yes many altcoins are good and they have so many features which bitcoin does not have. The most important among these factors are quick or rather instant confirmation time. But the bad thing is that none of them have been used as a mode of payment. You wont find any site which give you options of payment in altcoins. Altcoins are being mostly used for trading purpose or some of the good one being used in online gambling also.
For investors that wants more profit, they would rather choose an altcoin which is in demand in the next 2-3 years just like bitcoin does. Investing in bitcoin right now will give you small profit in the next year unlike if an altcoin becomes famous it may become x100-x200 in the next 2-3 years and its just that rewarding.

Only good project alts will survive. Those roadmaps and whitepaper have be archieved. Then the inveators hot attaractive.

As per my view

Ltc
Eth
Dash
Xrp

Those have stable condition so they can more survive

we all need universal power and cyclist of Everything
-2023 would most likely be as bearish as 2022-
=BTC will make it, but might be a long winter=

Most of the coins created as a result of the ICO do not survive because the projects were poorly prepared, the project ideas were not viable, which leads to a lack of demand for them. Such coins quickly leave the market.
Other altkoins behave differently when bitkoyn grows in price. This is due to the fact that most altcoyins were created for functioning in a certain sphere of our life and have different spheres of application with bitcoins. They do not compete with each other and therefore can grow in price simultaneously. Some altcoins are really oppressed and fall in price when bitkoyn grows. However, bitkoyn can not rise endlessly and as soon as it stops, the altcoyins come to life, because at this time there is an outflow of money from bitkoyna to altcoyins.

I think that Bitcoin will become a universal store of value for some time.
Ethereum too, and it serves as the financial infrastructure of application tokens.

The thing about the application tokens is that their utility makes them very high potential projects. If they grow, eth grows. But if ETH grows as a pure store of value, it doesn't necessarily mean that the tokens will also grow.

Currently the best application token bets are tech based, utility tokens such as OmiseGO, Raiden and AppCoins, just to name a few examples.

With the increasing pressure of governments on cryptocurrencies, I think it will be harder for altcoins to have the same increase bitcoin had. For that reason I would say that we should take a closer look on application tokens that have a utility other than mere especulative growth. If they suceed to grow, then the attached cryptocoin will also grow. Tech based application tokens, such as Raiden or AppCoins, are a good way to go, IMHO.

Altcoins still have place in the market, but I don't think all of them will survive in a long run. One reason is that, a lot of coins existed in the market and of course investors will look into it rather than of searching for the old one. And also the reason is that, its coin market volume won't increase and its market value is going down. That's make investors never took to it as their investment.

Hi,

Many of them won't but as long as there is a demand for, they will keep rising simply and people will make more and more profit.

Altcoins have always existed and they always will exist alongside Bitcoin. The definition of an alt will change over time as it was first considered to be anything other than BTC but it's slowly changing. They have uses and will continue to exist.

The altcoins with some real-life use will definitely survive. As long as there is a demand for their existence - they will exist.

Absolutely right not all will survive just few because they are going to use for many big projects around us and communities and devs also very motivated doing hard work like Ripple Ether and some more but most of them will die soon or later because they are not going to use for any thing

For sure they will survive because altcoins got their own supporters and community and they can continuously support the altcoins that they want in order to survive. Altcoins are not dependable because they got their own project and i think that even though there will be no bitcoin or even though bitcoin will go up very high, altcoins will still be there.

The altcoin with a real product will survive but the promissing project will die why? Simply because people will continue to patronize the project they see the benefit & potential of altcoin if the demand are high they will surely survive.
Like ethereum more and more people/investor are use eth to make transaction fast impact the fee are too low compare to btc that so high.

Altcoins is fine, altcoins will still survive as bitcoin do. All cryptocurrency are going big or even more bigger in the next year I think. Even the price of bitcoin going high, the demand of altcoins and the price are fine. I think altcoins will never dead like bitcoin.
