Some will survive while others won't. Most altcoins are just made to raise fund and then it will will just disappear soon after it hits exchange market. Some will stay and make some run that would even put them in the list of top altcoins. So in my speculation, about 80% of altcoins will survive in the future.

I think from top 1000 coins will survive about 100. Others will live few years and then can dissapear. But this 100 altcoins can give you the best profit ever!

Moreover they will grow even more! Altcoins in most ways except the price even better than bitcoin. Altcoins work with smart contracts and other financial tools. Also people will invest less in Bitcoin due to its price. That's why altcoins will be very popular in next years.

I believe Bitcoin will continue to rise but that doesnt mean that Altcoin will stop being around. But Altcoins have higher potential than we expect, because there are some working technologies in our system that come from Altcoins.
Only the stronger Altcoins will survive, and I believe Ethereum and Ripple are some of them.

Yes, altcoin will survive the situation because next year is said to be a great year for crypto currency along with bitcoin and this the reason why almost all crypto currency are looking good but not all altcoin will survive though.

Much of them died because no demand, but we can see ICO much created too. Altcoins will survive if they really develop their products and have strong team inside it

I think ICO's are a better alternative to IPO's and so I think tokens will replace stocks. So there are 12000 or so stocks in NasDaq that means there will be many tokens.

Hello. Not all Altoins will survive, probably 95% will fail. But the ones that serve a purpose and develope their product will become great.
I think Bitcoin will rise even more and drop in between and the cycles will push some altcoins even higher

How shall we count? Altcoin is everything what is listed on coinmarketcap? Or all the crytocoins ever launched? Generally my opinion is that there will be about 10-15 who stay. Some will be incorporated into those 10. How much it will be in percentage - well depends how we shall count.

Everyday new coin, new ico new airdrop, it's really difficoult to predict who will survive :O

They did increase too.
Ethereum is now at a soaring price at $800+ and it is back at its price of 0.04+ bitcoin per ethereum unlike before where it is like .02 only.
I guess they will all be pulled up since it needs to be equal from altcoin to bitcoin not altcoin to dollar.
So brace yourself and there will be a lot of changes when the time comes. They will stay, no need to doubt it as long as there is support.

This is not so easy to say, I think a lot of altcoins are pure scam, but many of them looks really promising like Bitcore or DeepOnion

I did mined one currency called SummerCoin back in 2014 among few others like blackcoin. I have a lot of them but sold December 2015 for 2BTC. SummerCoin was re-branded to NavajoCoin. NAV project was always good and they had amazing good DEV, maybe a bit slow with updates but always keep promise! and always deliver! Today NAV is 3$. Many other coins died because they been neglected or just focused on price, NAV was different, always had good community and keep adding things to make unique! Like Anon encryption and few other things.

Such an stable development is not at all possible with every altcoins. Some used to show good growth by the starting, which is purely of manipulation and when days pass automatically the value begins to decline causing a downfall of the particular coin. As in the above quote, the best will continue to do well.

as of this year altcoin are may have been popular for my opinion and my reaction altcoin is better more and it is good to have for they have a lot of thing that altcoin can be for just like in bitcoin and the way on how does the contract is.
