Currently, there are a lot of different tokens on the market and their price is very small in comparison with the BTC, and therefore they have very few chances of becoming infected. I think that after a while, a large number of them will simply disappear without enduring competition
There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

It will survive for quite a long time. Maybe around 10 to 20 years ahead, because this technology will be hard to overcome. We will see in the next 5 years then we able to forecast for the future technology.

For all that I know altcoins will survive and grow in the crypto market because altcoins had already been in the crypto world now for quite some time now just like Bitcoin which is the most trusted crypto currency in the crypto world which has the highest market value in the crypto world today. So its much better to invest in altcoins and crypto currencies right now while their market values are under valued so we can be able to buy as many as we want so we can be able to gain profits at any time they start increasing their market value.

The strong and good coins will survive but decent coins or abandoned coins won't get any market activity. Even there are so many altcoins now but the survivor only for coins that have a bright future.

I am sure that any altcoins will survive even bitcoin will gonna lose in the future. Remember that altcoins is disign to be a compitator of bitcoin itself so if bitcoin will lose altcoin will surely survive.

I think altcoins will survive itself as we see in some altcoins they already start from 2014 and some are older than that like doge, litecoin, terracoin, and some old altcoin they will surely survive.

Will Altcoins survive as bitcoin is going higher and higher and the demand is getting increasing every day, what will happens to altcoins
I am sure Altcoin will continue to survive and continue to improve the quality and quantity of them. therefore, I continue to support Altcoin with full support. and I'm sure the development team of each Altcoin will work hard to increase their prices.

If the Developers Would not do Something about and just leave their coins in waiting or Hanging, then that would surely spell the peril and death for their altcoin. therfor it can also stay and will be used by people no matter how old it was , As long as it still has a value that can be used for buying and selling. an alternative coin could still Exist and may Even Overpass bitcoin's price. somehow and Someway, as long as there is such supporters of an alternative Coin,

Of course many altcoins will survive, as they are not mutually exclusive to bitcoin. In fact some of the newer blockchains intend to be interoperable with and thus complement bitcoin. Different coins serve different purposes.

The survivavility of a coin will surely depend on the team behind it and the project. So In my opinion we really have to select our owen investment altcoins and compare them. Some of them have huge potential but others are just garbage.

Working protocols will survive. That's ethereum, XLM, ICX, NULS, etc. I also expect a few currencies to survive the cut like BTC, QASH, BAT, NANO, XMR, and KIN.

Very, very few are going to survive among utility tokens. If you hold only those you're gonna get rekt.

Not a financial advisor, just my opinion.

Unless I am very confident about some altcoin, I won't hold it for too long.
We have to admit that only a very few coins will survive in the end, most of them will die eventually.

Coins that survive is the coins who has a platform or product, other else its only pump and dump coins. We will see that peoples start looking at crypto and investing more in crypto.

Of course as always many will be dragged down by heavy bitcoin pump/dump but the strongly driven coins with huge potentials will survive and maybe in the future will replace bitcoin itself on the top.

That's a big dream tho, you cannot replace the bitcoins or any altcoins out there they are all dependent on bitcoin and how come they would be top 1. Altcoins will survive some others will not but the sure thing is bitcoin and altcpins can grow more in the coming decades.

Altcoin will survive as long there is bitcoin. In future, we should see individual Altcoin stand on it's own. We need stronger Altcoin that must have a solid code and fully decentralized just like bitcoin. The more Altcoin that can stand like bitcoin, the more robust the cryptocurrency in general would be!

Many experts point out that, while there is no global moratorium on the creation of new altcoins, a reduction in the amount of crypto currency is unlikely. In addition, the implementation of this scenario (the introduction of a ban on creating a crypto currency) is practically impossible, since it is impossible to prohibit what is not centrally regulated. Consequently, with time, the number of altcoins will only increase.
