I think they will survive because all coins have their unique feature (s) to add to the blockchain technology. Though, more often than not, their value move in line with that of bitcoin but there are several others that when Btc is red, they are still green. Many of the altcoins are already doing well in the market.

I think Altcoin has survived even though Bitcoin continues to improve. so with Bitcoin continuing, strong Altcoin will continue to increase the development to follow Bitcoin. this is what Altcoin does to survive with so strong Bitcoin. because I know all along that this is what Altcoin did to overtake Bitcoin.

Bitcoin is the king of all coins. If Bitcoin goes up then most of the coins below it will go up including Alt coins. Alt coin that will survive is Alt coin that already exist and already established. For me, I think altcoin will still survive. As what I have observed, when bitcoin increases altcoin decreases and vice versa. But that doesn't matter, even if altcoin is much lesser than bitcoin, we can still earn big income from it.
