This is an old thread and yes Altcoins will survive depend upon the support by developers,technology,community adoption rate.If these features are possess by an altcoin then definitely that will survive otherwise will no longer exist in coinmarketcap.Many shit coins have already disappeared during long dip period.

Altcoins are more useful compared to bitcoin. You cant use bitcoins for a lot of things and a lot of altcoins substitute bitcoin. For example bitcoin isn't cheap enough to be used for social media tipping or for buying weed but altcoins like  REDDcoin and GRMD substitute bitcoin there.

Of course some of altcoins will die cause even today we can find a lot of altcoins with identical idea. So weak tokens with bad team will dissapear but strong altcoins will develope and become more valued.

for sure it will, i certainly believe that the whole crypto industry will do good this year. Those FUD and uncertainties are part of it's maturity, no market in this world are always on the uptrend. As you observe the market is down because of the regulations of big countries who pioneered this industry, imagine when all of them finish their regulation for sure there will be a difference.
