There are several draft bills. Not about severe regulation, but for legalization. Still, it is to soon to talk about completing the process.

Here in my country our government is currently in the process of regulating Bitcoin including other cryptocurrencies and that is a great news because our government and central bank believes that cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin can help speed up transactions from local and overseas remittances and can also solve other problems. They are also in process of licensing new local bitcoin exchanges. I don't know how popular Bitcoin here in the Philippines because it is not quite mentioned in the local news but I know a lot of people (friends and relatives) that are investing and trading cryptocurrencies.

Bitcoins rising price has started many discussion in my country. Its sudden spike in current week surprised many. I am from a developing country. Many people don’t know about bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency. Those who are related with financial markets know bitcoin better. The bitcoin enthusiasts are still have at low percentage even though there's a few people who put their interests here despite of our large population. People here in my country don't see yet the beauty of crypto currency plus the people who think bitcoin is a scam especially when they saw it on one segment in TV claiming that bitcoin is a big scam. Instead of helping the community to spread and raise awareness they mislead the public for what's true and this really saddened me.
And our government they're still in silent and the users are still awaiting what will be the government first step in regulating bitcoin.

very few people in my country are interested in bitcoin. the government has no preconceptions about bitcoin. However, the number of people investing with BitCoin is increasing. It is up to you to perceive this as good or bad.

In my country people are getting crazy about the bitcoin because of one thing. The first is its price and in my local currency the prices for this is in 7 digits now and that is just really unbelievable. I mean holding just one coin is like having 7 figures of income in hand and thats crazy guys. It shivering me even when I’m typing it. Many of my friends are now struggling to get one full bitcoin and they sold the coins when it was too cheap earlier in 2017. This was not very good approach and even in my case I’m just having couple of thousand dollars. So you see there are lot of opportunity in my country with bitcoin. Just holding it can make us very very rich in here and people are taking time to understand it. Those who have already started recognising the bitcoin are now having full positive approach and trying hard.


With my experience I can surely tell that people are not interested in other currencies that is alt coins. It is not there type and they just believe in the bitcoin thats all.

The interest for Bitcoin in my home country has been escalating ever since we became a part of the bandwagon years ago. Right now, there are already media mentions and although some of those in media are still giving some cautious look at Bitcoin I believe that even a not-so-good publicity is still a publicity. The Central Bank here is giving Bitcoin the leeway it needs and even approved two more Bitcoin exchanges to operate. Though SEC is right now looking at issuance of ICO as possibly to be under the security laws, I am so sure that things are getting better here. And our tax collection agency has not yet intervened possibly because they find it hard to trace and supervise online transactions. We all welcome and
prepared for possible regulations though in exchange for making Bitcoin truly legal here.
