Kind of dissapointed really, no serious mentions by any high officials that would be in favour of acknowledging bitcoin or cryptocurrencies as a whole. The person who has now become the prime minister and therefore the second most important person has previously expressed that he would rather ban cryptocurrencies altogether, but that was quite time ago, not sure what he thinks of it now, but given how minimal the attention bitcoin gets here he probably doesn't think of it as anything important, which is bad. There was a news report lately, but it was spreading prejudiced beliefs and generally scaring the public from bitcoins.

after bitcoin reach $20k yesterday, my government said that beware of bitcoin, we don't allow bitcoin as a currency and bitcoin is not a currency. I think they are afraid of bitcoin because many people right now invest their money in bitcoin and the government make this warning to the citizen. they don't want people getting scam in bitcoin but they don't learn more about bitcoin. if they know that bitcoin is a new technology that will bring something better to them, I guess they will learn and research bitcoin and I think they will found some interesting thing with bitcoin.
