End of 2017 price predictions - $13k-$15k

Alright so we blasted through the big goal of $10,000, went up to ~$11,500, and then experienced a correction and now it's hanging around 9500 - 10750 basically.

We've got a month left in the year. How high do you think we'll go?

I think we'll be somewhere in the $13k-$15k range come new years. Rising a thousand dollars isn't a big deal anymore now that it has crossed $10k, so next real barrier is maybe $15k and definitely $20k. Hitting $13k-15k by new years should put BTC on track to hit $20k in the first quarter of the year, which in turns sets up a good possibility of hitting $50k next year.

We need to consolidate the price around $9500-$10000 for a week or so before we attempt to break the all time high. If the all time high is broken, then we can go into another FOMO frenzy reaching these kind of prices, but I think it would be healthy to stop for a while and consolidate, ideally above $10000, but if we stay around that nice $9500-$10000 range we are still in a good position. If we keep retesting lower prices we may dip for a while until the next year FOMO frenzy kicks in again as all the idiots that still didn't buy this cheap finally do. CME, Nasdaq futures and Lightning network will make it go $50,000 by the end of 2018, pretty easily in fact.

How sure you on that about what you are saying?  Do you have any proof that bitcoin will go back again at $7000?
So far that price you are saying is somehow impossible to happen.

i doubt that we will see the price around $13.000~$15.000,
because we made a quick move for the past few days which is not a sign for a long run.
usually when we're seeing a bullrun movement there'll be a huge upward movement for a day and then stabilize.
but right now we're seeing a huge spike that caused the price broke $11.000 level for couple hours.
afterward the price made a huge move caused the price moving downward and reaching below $10.000,
just look at it right now,the price breaking $9000 level and retracing back.
which mean we'll see a huge downward movement and then starting to stabilize ourself in around $7000~ more or less.

I don't know but i trust bitcoin with all my money since then bitcoin is the best digital currency id used entire my life and yet other says bitcoin price will be at the maximum price of $1million dollars which is by 2020 so we can see that theres a posibilities that bitcoin will become $20,000 or more this comming 2018 and or before the year ends.

Still bitcoin price is highly swinging the price dropped to $9500 so I think bitcoin need some time to recover from this drop.I hope the price of bitcoin at the time of new year will be around $12K to $13K and maybe finish the year 2018 with more than $25k.

Why 5K? Why not 1K? For me no matter the price of bitcoin. I am a supporter of the bitcoin has remained stable. I logically understand that it is impossible to do nothing and still make money. It does not happen. This price increase will lead to a fall. But we can not change. Someone makes a bitcoin bubble. Nothing depends on us and we can only observe.

I agree with pretty much everything you said (except I don't think LN will hit in 2018 and I'm not even sure it'll end up being the best second layer solution). I do think it will consolidate between 9500-10500 for the most part, but that'll probably only last a few days. Buy pressure too strong at these prices to keep it in consolidation for very long.

Yeah if things go well in 2018 $50k is totally doable. If it ends the year even at just $12k, and next year the doubling rate slows down from ~3.5 months this year to 6 months for next year, that puts it at $48k end of 2018. And if hedge funds and ETFs enter the Bitcoin space next year there is no way the doubling rate slows all the way down to 6 months so that would mean very high chance of over $50k in 2018, possibly significantly higher than $50k.

Bitcoin price is going high and end of the year the price will be more high so I believe that a lot of people are waiting for this moment because last year the bitcoin price become very high end of the year so I think bitcoin in this year bitcoin achieved a lot of goals and that the reason that bitcoin price will go high I myself keep on hold a lot of bitcoin and I was waiting for end of the years and I’m hundred present sure that the price will be very high.

What should happen with bitcoin at the beginning of the next year? I'm always trying to understand the logic of people saying that after the end of this year some trigger will be pulled and the price will rush down.
My own prediction: we gona have a huge dump in the next year. The price of btc at 30 dec 2018 will depend on the date of the beginning of this dump. If it will be at the first part of the year then we may get btc at 20$k, of not then it can be below 10k. Tbh I'm mot realy sure but most of the forecasts made by pro financers are also not accurate so who cares?

I like the constantly increasing price of bitcoin but it is for me not the main thing. I think that the developers should concentrate on making so you can safely go to segwit2x. The sooner this happens the more promising will be the bitcoin. We now need to prepare for the growth in the number of transactions.

I think the price of bitcoin will reach 12000$.In next year it may touch the value of 13500$,so if you want to sell at 13000$ means you have to wait till January.
